A half-life track which always felt badass for me
Bhaalspawn battle theme almost had that extra whoa in it!
A battle theme from TES3 : Morrowind. Epic, especially while being followed by 27 cliff racers and 4 blighted kaguti. Start those spells or you are as good as dead!
Harrogath theme from Diablo 2 LoD. Very climatic. Fortress being sieged outside, but in it a certain piece. Tranquility... betrayal perhaps?
Arthas' theme from Warcraft 3. Very dramatically epic, considering a hero turned evil.
Soundtrack to one of the best racing games ever. Best for me. The first one of many in fact. Snow theme from TrackMania.
Face the enemy 1, soundtrack from Red Alert. Heard the first time in the official game trailer. Brilliant in any and many more ways. Like preparations for a war of world proportions.
Two pieces from the earlier Fallout games : The Glow soundtrack from FO1 and The Enclave soundtrack from FO2. Creepy, post apocalyptical, give you a feeling of "hey, the enemy is coming for you, and it will sooo burn you down!
And finally, couldn't have done without Still Alive, Portal's credits theme!

Ah, right. I already thanked you for this but I think I will do so again publicly because you deserve it for the effort. Thanks for putting up both Githyanki tunes, Himmy.I think I'll listen to them again now. I need something to snap me to attention.
ah, you're welcome!

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - I Want You to Know
The song version of that tune from the PSX game. I love how they snuck a bit of Ryu's theme in there too. It's fitting.

Final Fantasy II: Battle with the Four Fiends (I know it's IV, but damn right you nostalgia for when it was II)
Crash Bandicoot Warped: Orient Express (my favorite levels in that game)
Majora's Mask: Clock Town, Third Day (same basic tune as day one, but there's a frantic, uneasy strain that really makes you remember the ticking clock. Coincides well with the little earthquakes that happen that day, too)
I really, really loved the Majora's Mask: Clock Town, Third Day theme as well as when the moon was falling on Termina.
I also loved the music from Oblivion. My only problem is that the game played it too much. But every once and a while I get it some of it stuck in my head. Some of these songs include:
Reign of the Septims - Made me feel adventurous. When my younger brother started playing this game I couldn't stop listening to the opening menu.
King and Country - As viperxz puts it in the Youtube comments: "the triumphant sound of successfully fighting your way out of a dangerous gave".
Wings of Kynareth - I especially like the song when it gets to 2:00.
Watchman's Ease - These are one of the songs that I get stuck in my head.
Minstrel's Lament - Also get stuck in my head.
Dusk at the Market - Fits well when you're traversing the city.
Glory of Cyrodiil - I think this would be my favorite.
Auriel's Ascension - This music is great when you're roaming the lands at night.
Unmarked Stone - I think this is one of the best musics befitting for a dungeon or game in any cave. The only problem? It was used way too much. One of the things I didn't like about Oblivion was repetition and this sort of reflects on the music as well.
Bloodlust - I think it's great music. But again: repetition. It was used way too much. That doesn't mean I enjoyed it though. When I was playing Oblivion for the first time, it really got me into the action. It just had that adventurous vibe to it.
Churl's Revenge - The reason why I find this music so nostalgic is because it reminds me of when I was being chased by an enemy, mainly referring the guards.
There you have it.

Question: When you say nostalgic, does this exclude all the games that came out recently. Like, I don't know. Last year? The year before last year? This year?
Well if a game that came out a year ago evokes reminiscence which in turn leaves you feeling nostalgic....then I guess by definition, they shouldn't be excluded.
(Man, what I would give to be 22 again and go back and play AC2 for the first time, *sigh*...such simple times they were...when I didn't have care in the world...less than a year ago.)

Cause I was thinking if I should put up AC2 music. Man, Jesper Kyd is awesome. I sometimes wish every game had the type of music AC2 has, you know what I mean?

Ninja Gaiden - Stage 1
River City Ransom - Double Dragon Theme
Technically it's from Double Dragon. It was just reused for an end boss fight in RCR. I wanted to pay homage to two great games in one song.
Castlevania II ~ Simon's Quest - Bloody Tears
Little did I know one of my favorite 8-bit tracks would get remixed a bajillion times in the future.
Bastard ninja'd the best ones. =P
Hah! Here are two you didn't ninja!
Alucard=F****ing metal.

Just like Funky Kong is the pimp ****ness. I actually remember yelling "Fly us in under the radar, funky! It's time to show that fat reptile what it means to steal bannanas from the Kong family!" At the tv when I was five years old and getting ready to fight the last boss.

No argument there, I've listened to "Apocalypse" and much of the Hitman tracks in general so much that they've nearly become stale for me, not there yet though.
