I set a trap placeable but nothing happens when you walk on it.

I set the variables to PLC_TRAP_AOE  "9"  and left PLC_TRAP_TYPE  "0"  and everything else is default.  What am I missing to set it off?

I believe PLC_TRAP_TYPE should be non-zero.

If it's non zero that makes it a trigger (not a trap) according to wiki unless I'm reading it wrong (which is always possible).

Yes, setting it to non-zero sets the trigger for the trap. Then, when any object enters the trap trigger, the trap systems checks a few things and applies the effect you've configured in PLC_TRAP_AOE to be applied to the creatures that triggered the trap.

So, essentially, you have to set a trigger for the trap -> otherwise, it will never be triggered.

So the trap seems to go off fine but no damage? Got AOE at 9 and PLC TYPE at 205.

Do I need to add a script to fire off an animation and deal damage?
