Hello, I just bought Mass Effect 2 the other day and gave it a good night to download. There was one pause, mind you. After that, it went on and this morning I tried to get it installed. At the 10% of the 'movies.rar', an installation error occurs.
Right now, I am re-downloading it WITHOUT a pause to see if that was the problem. Hopefully, that's all it'll take. But I have put this up in case it does happen to mess up.

Well, my CPU crashed at 8.6/9.6 GB and this time, it went to about 60% of the 'movies.rar' then failed on me T_T

You'd probably be best advised to contact whichever download service you bought it from.
Some more details (which download service; text of the error message) would be helpful to anyone trying to diagnose the problem, here or at tech support.

Alright, well I'm not sure how to contact the download service but here's the details you need. And it's all I can really give.

I bought Mass Effect 2 for 31$ at the EAStore and downloaded it using the EA Download Manager.
That's all I can give as I don't know what may be the cause.

Okay, so it is proceeding through their client.
I don't know the workings of the EADM, so I'd suggest contacting EA. I'm not sure how to contact them either, but presumably it's on the EA store website somewhere.

Well, I came up with the same solution I did for ME1.
I extracted all the important .rar's into a 'Mass Effect 2' file. Some files failed, which is why I kept a back-up of my second download which filled in any missing gaps. So, I have all Mass Effect 2 files in C:/Program Files/Mass Effect 2. Now, my problem at the moment is the 'awc.dll' error and I am attempting to use the Adobe Air fix as I really don't want to go through that again.
