However again I'm utterly stymied as to why you haven't ever told people that there was a patch in the works. Why suffer all the threads of complaint and gripe? Why couldn't you have just said the wheels were in motion towards getting it resolved?
Well, first, you're welcome. We do listen to our fans and try to keep them happy.
As for why didn't we say a patch is in the works, because this often causes problems. Yes, by not saying one is in the works we do have to listen to people complaining we are not patching or are not listening, but in many ways this is better than the alternatives.
What alternatives? Well, the usual "You promised a patch, where is it?", "You promised a patch, it better fix MY problem or I will hate you forever", "You promised a patch, and I still don't see it", "So that patch you mentioned, I still don't see it", "When is it coming", etc, etc.
Plus, I am also secretly a furivor. I feed on your hate and don't want to go hungry.

Found this on GameFaqs...
Yeaha, and they found this on our forums when I said it at the link I already provided.
Maybe I should see if it isn't too late to add a better detection skill into the patch.
Ah, my apologies. I've been reloading this for new info, but somehow missed your post while going back and forth between sites. My bad.

This is so true.
15 bucks map packages in my ***
And to make this thing be on topic: Can someone tell me what effect does the patch has on the probes and the upgrades you get from Miranda and Samara?

Those shouldn't be affected, they'll just make planet scanning even easier than usual.Pepper4 wrote...

Also, I wonder if the ones who thought up of $15 map packages will start charging for patch fixes too...
Actually, wait. Forget I said anything.

Currently this patch is only for the 360, but a patch for the PC version
of Mass Effect 2 is in the works and we will have details as soon as
they are ready. ../../../images/forum/emoticons/smile.png
So, when will it be ready?!
Seriously, good news though(yay, no more adding resources via savegame-edit!).

wow....I mean Bioware really who was the genius who suggested taking out A+X without fixing the automatic adding of points......
Kind a like saying "I am going to fix your bullet wound by closing it......without taking the bullet out".... ........................

1) awesome. Planet scanning was a bane on the existence of this game...particularly on the 360
2) took you long enough. Planet scanning was a bane on the existence of the game...so why did it take 4 months to come up with a solution?
When all is said and done, I'm grateful for the patch...at this point I didn't think it was going to come at all. Now I will definately go back and play through the game again. Thanks a bunch!
