i am currently just shy of 4 bars of renegade on my first playthrough on an adept. this was a new character created, not imported from me1. i have only samara and jack's loyalty quests left before going to get the reaper iff and starting the last couple of missions. being just shy of 4 bars, i have 4 squad points to upgrade into either a bastion or nemesis. whether i get a 70% bonus to my current score, or a 100% bonus to my current score, it shouldnt matter, all 5 bars should be full. this is not the case however. the 70% bonus from nemesis doesnt even show up on my bar at all, and the 100% bonus from bastion adds a bit to my renegade bar, but not 100%. not by a longshot. if someone could explain to me why this is broken all of a sudden, it would be appreciated. until i get this figured out im not playing as i want as many renegade points before i do those last 2 loyalty missions.

The bonuses from that final point do not stack with the bonuses from the previous levels.

Rank 1 is 20% scores

Rank 2 is 40

Rank 3 is 70



Rank 4 then either stays at 70% for Nemesis or goes to 100% (30% increase) for Bastion.



If you were to completely respec you would notice the bars move a lot more.

ok, that makes sense. but that is really lame imo. if it says it increases ur score by a certain percent, it should simply calculate however many renegade points you have at the time and increase your score by said percentage. especially when you reach the 4th stage. im pretty much forced to choose bastion if i want certain renegade options unlocked, even though i want to be a nemesis. going from a 70% increase in stage 3 to a 70% increase in stage 4 meaning you gain no additional points for that level makes absolutely no sense to me. i wish they had done the logical thing and made it so that your final upgrade grants additional points instead of having another 70% increase that does abolsutely nothing.
