:( no X+A glitch makes me a sad panda bear.

Although it was cheap, so I guess it's for the better.

At least it really helped me w/ my Adepting through Insanity playthrough!

I just hope that the PC patch will bring multicore optimization and correct most of all those nasty bugs including the mining one :(

I dont expect it at all, but it would be nice of ME2 didnt flip out so much when I overclock my CPU. It and the original are two of the few games that dont want to play nice when I give my system a boost.

That's complete bull****. Take out the point glitch? How about making the game balanced out so we wouldn't have to resort to something like that? Sad how a glitch fixes that problem over you guys to think about making it right, lol.

Love the mining "optimization", it actually makes the mining game somewhat enjoyable now simply because of the speed.

excellent job Bioware!

As a legally blind guy playing this on a standard 24 inch, I have to say... BIGGER TEXT... As a gamer who has a sighted wife, I have to say thank you SO much for optimizing the mineral scanning and fixing the various bits and bobs that didn't work.

Bioware, you have always rocked in my book and ME2 is so awesome that I'm a fanboy. Me, a swords and sorcery Dwarf-lover is a sci-fi fanboy. Congratulations on a job well done and I can't wait for ME3

That's something I'd like to know, too. Someone volunteer and confirm it please.

LOL @ how massive the scanning reticle is now. Nice! Perfect timing too. I just started a second playthrough on my renegade Shepard. This'll make the hunt for Platinum less of a pain in the ass.

This is very awesome and all, but when is the Conrad Verner glitch going to be fixed? I'm baffled as to how that hasn't been fixed yet. Conrad Verner thinks every Shepard stuck a gun in his face in ME1. Please fix this glitch.

Aryck1095 V2 wrote...

Did they HAVE to "fix" the X+A
cheat? I wouldn't call that a fix...

Hopefully it doesn't undo
the extra talent points for my existing characters, or I'm going to be
extremely PO'd.

Is that one of the fixes? LAME! It's a harmless explot in a single player only game. I love having all my abilities maxed, I just increase the difficulty so that the gameplay is still challenging. PC players can mod their games like crazy, but xbox 360 players can't keep a harmless explot? So lame...

Being able to have all my powers maxed makes the game significantly more fun for me. This really sucks. I wish I could not get the update without playing offline all the time.

It seems harmless now, but what if it prevented the correct importing of your character to Mass Effect 3? Then you'd be screwed and have to start ME2 over again lol.

thankyou, i was sick of zaeed overwriting my cryo ammo with disruptor ammo, it was annoying. and thankyou for fixing the enemy cover system, i had a nice sniper sweep, although there is one issue, on casual difficulty the enemy continuously fires rockets and its extremely irritating when the enemy kills you because you cant move, and the geth goliath on haestrom can knock you out of cover thats really unfair when you play insanity and you kill all the geth troops and that thing knocks you out of cover and a geth sharpshooter gets a miraculous hit. please fix that with a checkpoint save after youve killed most of the troops

Meh, I suppose. Though I'm not going to hold my breath. I think the worst out of people. It's served me well so far in life.

Like my grandad use to say "think wrong, and you'll be right"

Hell even Garrus says it LOL.

Either way it works.

If you think wrong and your accurate, your the only one who was ready, and there is nothing more pleasurable than to tell an idealist... "IN YO FACE".

On the other hand, if you think wrong and your....well wrong, you get that warm feeling of "he/she is a good guy....unlike many, I am glad to have met him/her"

no matter the way your always pleasantly surprised.

As if your naive and always think everyone is good, you'll more often get bad surprises rather than good ones :P.

Glad you see it my way. There is more bad than there is good on this world. It's better to expect the worse out pof people. For the reasons that you just stated.

ME/ME2 was a great experience for me. The unique setting, character personnalisation, and dialogue driven story were delightfull. I loved every aspect until your "Support" ruined all.

The Cerberus Network is nothing but a system for controlling players and buyers. It's a chore to set up the first time, when you just want to play the game. The free aspect of it rapidly faded away with continuous pricy DLC milking out fans with stories which doesn't even takes place after the end of the game (where all player should be after 1 month).

The worse for me is this UNREADABLE DISC error, which forces me to play from an USB device.

I tried everything from playing on another new disc, on another new HDD, and on another Xbox 360 console. Every time the unreadable screen pops up. I think I should be thankfull the USB-only solution works, even if it forces me to play from the disc with a noisy Xbox...

And now here comes a patch, which not only does nothing to prevent this well known issue, but on top of that take away a great glitch.

Honestly I thought this glitch was made on purpose by you the developpers, as some sort of conivence with the player. As if he liked the game so much, he could enjoyed it to the fullest. Something not so different from the well known Konami Code.

Apparently, I was wrong. The patch pretends to address fans claims (painfull scan mode is painfull , big surprise...) but ignore players who can't even play with their payed games, and take something away from others (if it's beacause it could mess with ME3, just tell us damit).

Now I only resent frustration and ressentment when thinking about Mass Effect.I could call Bioware by names, raging like a betrayed fanboy. But in fact, I'm actually really impressed how "support" of a game can break the love I had for it this bad.

So now I know you Bioware+EA don't care, neither do I.

I can't believe people actually complain about the fixed exploit XP glitch. Jesus, what a bunch a douchebags. It was never ment to be, you get that right? And most of the game developers tend to fix&patch these kinda things in thier games.

Anywayz, good work BioWare. I'm especially happy with the squad ammo power and scaning thingy being fixed. Thank you.

Using exploits is stupid what do you think will happen when you try and import over your character to ME 3 with fully maxed powers or excess skill points. It will probably fall out as a corrupted save much like exploited cheated files did from 1 to 2. Everything else you've put isn't worth responding to *yawn*

Not fixing the glitch = the developers hate us.

Lose-lose scenario.

I think some kids just made it their hobby, to kill the boredom while they are waiting for ME3 lol

Even if i never noticed an issue with ME2 apart really rare crashes and even more rare being stuck in a wall, i appreciate really much a company that cares for its products: good work.

What about a DA patch now, that is a game that really need one!!!

I remember another thread a couple of weeks ago was complaining about Adrenaline Rush, saying it sucked too. Is nothing sacred? Please don't let them touch the almighty Revvy!! Or the Widow!!
