Idiots still complaining about the exploit fix?
Good good. Just making sure the community is living up to its reputation.

Still, BioWare doesn't want to release a DLC or game that affects progression and then get blamed for leaving a glitch in the game.Spartas Husky wrote...
hahahahahahahahaha, nice logo. perfect
Aaahhhh... now I get it- They could raise the level cap in Overlord to level 40 or whatever. We'd be able to keep earning points to put in the same number of powers, and thus max out more of them, like in the x-a glitch... now I get it...Spartas Husky wrote...
Like I said. To each his own. You dont mod, is fine, you like to enjoy a game, with its flaws and strengths.
I like to enjoy a game without flaws, and fix those Bioware was too......busy to see.
My problemw as simple. Now I gota spent 5 times more time, to do the same I did with a+x lol
If the "original code" says ref=1234, and you modded it to ref=5000, the next game wont HAVE any idea you did anything, just as long as I change it back to ref=1234.
Code was just made up from something I remembered from Rome total war
It was just 1 glitch. it wasn't used in mass. Most use it not to add points but to "redistribute" them.
Like Darth explained which is a much better explanation. Fixing the glitch, is a way to use you, the stubborn ones, to capitalize on anything they might be able to do with level cap. Simple.
I am very stingy, so I rather change my own lv, than buy it. I find those 5-10 bucks better spent going to watch a movie.
Now if you dont mind, is ok. Like I initially stated, to each, his/her own way.
I wont get the patch, and I found how to get overlord without it. And just Like, the Lori...quin?(forgot his name) glitch, this wont be that much of a difference.
Glitches aren't worth getting rid of, or spending resources in them, UNLESS they are doing something that potentially takes away my power to capitalize on its purpose.
And Glitches aren't worth worrying about, unless you heavily abuse them.
Like DA: I just modify my skills there, but you put too many skills and it will crash more times. than rooster trying to fly.
But again to each his own.
They don't have to raise the level cap now, but there's always the possibility of later.Spartas Husky wrote...
I dont know about anything of raising the level cap in overlord.

Planet scanning is almost too easy now. I used to be able to eat a sandwich, post on a message board, write the great American novel... all while planet scanning. Now all I can do is just scan.
They dumbed down the scanning of empty planets?jkthunder wrote...

Neither unlimited skill points (or night vision goggles) are features of the game.
They didn't forget.
It wasn't bad planning, poor management, or a technical oversight.
It was never intended to be part of the game. It is an exploit. A cheat.
Your point is still completely invalid.
