So, they tell you upfront, like has been said a thousand times around here, if you use the hack you probably won't be able to use the character for import into me3. We know you couldn't have had 60 or 70 points, we know you must have at least one point in the loyalty power, we know...
So, in me3, they either deny imports that are out of known ranges-- seriously, any programmer that can't write a simple check script for this needs to go back to kindergarten and relearn BASIC on a TRS80--or they simply let you import while resetting all the points to zero or to the max they could/should have been.
If they don't want to ****** off someone that may have "accidentally" used the hack, then they just set the max points and let you redistribute them at the beginning of ME3. Or they set everyone back at zero, just like they did with me1 > me2... it's what we're already used to so there shouldn't be any issue with that... or they enforce it, say "we understand your issue, but you'll need to go back to me2 and create a valid importable character playthrough".
Sorry, but this excuse is lame and quite frankly assumes that their customers are idiots.
I for one have no problem with the glitch being removed. But only because i'm on the PC. But that's in the context that from me1 to me2 they've already removed so much that I'm really numb to it.
However, that they think I'd fall for this terrible excuse--we just can't find a way around it...--is laughable at best.

and if you read....what does
"allow retraining of powers for all squadmates" sound to you??? gibberish?
lol There would be no discussion, if they had already comed out with a "retrain powers" patch.

Not because is not on this specific page, doesn't mean it hasn't been said alot.

Now, we gota transfer the save file.
Load it up.
Xtaf it
then modio it.
THen gibbed it.
back again into modio..., delete, inject.

Nope, I got the patch. and loaded up a HEAVILY, modded file. Nothing happended during the...4 hrs I was playing it.:innocent::innocent::innocent:
THen erased it, just to be sure, I wont get any nasty surprises like many have
Oh and no it doesn't reset your points or anything.

3. Will a raised lvl cap ever be included in an update, DLC, or an expansion to quell the problem of extra lingering pts that can't be used b/c of too little pts to spend or for people who want all powers maxed? (Please raise lvl cap!!!
Most likely, they'll charge you for it... lol

Thanks, but did you use the Xbox-PC USB connection save file mod (method found in another fourm on this site) to test my 2nd ?n!
Thanks again!!

I use just a thumb drive of 4gb that I bought in walmart
1st. I plugged the USB drive into my xbox.
2nd moved ALL ME saves from xbox to USB drive
3rd Plugged USB drive into PC, and made a copy on my PC of all my saves.
Thenw ith those saves, I modded very little.
But one I went nuts, and gave everyone miniguns....placed the hardest difficulty ...lv 6, gave myself 500 talent points or what not.
Then I downloaded the patch. Played with it, for around 4 hrs. going from jaack, all the way to end of horizon. And nothing wrong happended. No crashes or anything like that.
ANd that was patching an ALREADY heavy modified game. Heck I got two geth shield boosts in that one
I also tried my others, that I redistributed the points with Gibbed Editor. Worked fine for an hour, didn't play more.
And lastly I tried the files, that I had redistributed the points using a+x, but not gibbed. And also worked fine.
So....as much as I can tell everything works fine, with small modified, medium modified, and heavily modified files....
I dont really know how, since what I am doing doesn't work on PC coding I know....but it WORKS
You can always unpatch your console by doing maintenance and everything and revert w/e you feel aint right without erasing DLCs........
holy **** thats it..... HAHAHAHAHAHA
So simple....so simple, I just realize how to download overlord without the patch...wow
