I mean give me one good reason to take A+X away.

In all seriousness, I hate having garrus with one damn point in AP ammo instead of being able to max concussive shot.

Or vise verse, I dont want Thane with his crappy shredder ammo.

Before you spit out nonsense, I have said it before, I dont care about A+X just as long as that one damn annoying point is added to the reserve stock instead of automatically being added to skills predetermined by Bioware.

Better example....I do.....no.....want....jacob....with....ammo powers. I want that initial point for heavy barrier.

Why would you fix a glitch, that solves, a creative oversight and bad planning, that is adding points to where.

PLEASE bioware, either put the dam glitch back, or go all the way and actually put all points in reserve where we can put em where we want them.

I was going to download Overload...but if Bioware doesn't fix Jacob having that innitial incendiary ammo, thane's shredder or other obvious ones, I'll hold off to anything Bioware has until ME3.

Um, overreacting much?

If you can't play the game effectively without a glitch, you're doing it wrong. Don't complain at Bioware for making the game playable as intended to originally.

Yes, it will annoy me having my squadmates a point or two short, but I do most the work anyway.

Making it so you can max everything destroys the point of using your points tactically, even with the splitting of rank 4powers. I find it fun making the best character you can with your current point selection in Bioware RPG's, anyway.

Mineral scanning is actually tolerable now, thanks guys!

I downloaded the patch and went off to do some N7 missions (not knowing what the patch had done) and noticed how fast it is. Absolutely cracking stuff.

And it's nice to hear the ammo thing was sorted too. Gave me quite the headache at times

FWIW, I never used the squad points glitch. It's not much of an issue as far as I'm concerned since there's no multiplayer, but glitching is still lame.

I just tested out the mineral scanner and it is a massive improvement that I actually depleted planets. Great job on that excellent fix Bioware. Now I no longer need to get RT & LT tunnel syndrome from rapidly tapping the Right Trigger while scanning.

I did just notice something though. I recall the Med-Bay Upgrade being 50,000 platinum to get to remove your scars. Well on my Insanity characters playthrough I finished in April it now says I need 75,000 Platinum. I wonder if Bioware changed this in the patch.

I actually thought ME2 was one of the most bug-free games i'd ever played.

Then you never played as a vanguard. And never recognized that shield upgrades only affect shepardt and mordin.
Squadmembers never remembered the weapon you assign them to use if you load a savegame. (for example on mission against bloodpack mordin want to use his smg)

Mass Effect has plenty bugs.

That's supposed to happen if Mordin dies during the suicide mission.

Oh, thank you for the information. I had no idea that the cost vaule went up if Mordin died. Not that it matters though since that Shepard happened to be mostly Paragon.

This is a nice surprise. My poor mom had to restart her game a while back because of issues with save files and DLC content. I guess we no longer have to worry about this. Thanks Bioware. :)

I didn't say I didn't agree with but you taking it over the limit it's not that serious.

Overreaction....duno maybe.

not all glitches are bad. and

"as originally intended".....if the original intent was an oversight, writer's error, and simple bad game play, why not use the glitch.

I dont max my skills, so dont generalize. Maxing out skills is a waste anyways since a power sends all others in the cool-down.

I use it Jack, so she has 0 warp ammo, and max field pull. I use it on Thane, so I can max Warp, use it on Jacob, so he has 0 incendiary and max his barrier

Hell even garrus. to have concussive blast and no AP.

actually..yes is a bit overreacting. I like to have my freedom to choose in the minor things. I dont like things being chosen for me. That is something ME1 did well...not perfectly but well.

The planet scanning issue was serious enough it was actually making me hold off on another playthrough with my only untried class, Adept. Now that it's happily out of the way, portable black holes, here I come!

With them making the game just better and better, and going down conceptually new routes (the rogue AI invades your consciousness in Overlord and makes you see everything as in Tron), have we got GOTY on our hands? I'd say so...

Removable helmets need to be patched. Ya know so we can actually remove them. I've got all kinds of fancy outfits I refuse to wear because I can't see Shepards eyes. Windows to the soul people.

You're still completing the mission with either outcome IMO. If you don't give him the packages and he leaves, the mission is over and should be closed in the journal. Several missions in ME1 worked that way, they were completed regardless of which of the two or three available outcomes you ended up with (thinking of the volus and keeper-scanner guy quests here). Whether the volus got arrested or made up with his buddy, your quest was completed.

While I tend to agree I'm basically speculating as to why they haven't fixed this "bug" yet.  Technically, if you talk to him and get some type of resolution to the situation then yeah it should count toward completion.  But since it seems to hinge on whether you actually give him the packages I think that is why Bioware doesn't seem to concerned about "fixing" it.

The A+X glitch was handy during my first Insanity playthrough, but I felt cheap doing it so I'm actually kind of glad I won't be tempted again ;)

Can't wait to fire up this new patch. I actually just noticed the ammo looking like it can be picked up just recently. The squad ammo issue was really annoying, and I wonder if the fix affects the same base codes that determine whether your squad goes Rambo even after directing them with the d-pad a zillion times. Sometimes they stay put for me, other times it's instant death for them.

I have a fairly new playthrough going, and the last save I made yesterday was during mid-planet scan. I found it hard stop (OCD anyone?), yet I couldn't stand it anymore so I quit. It'll be awesome to resume to find planet scanning that much easier and with a supposedly ridiculously large reticule. I can put my rubber bands away now.

That's the big one for me. I actually didn't mind the scanning that much in my first playthrough as it was all kind of new and exciting, but with every subsequent playthrough, it became more and more stale and it didn't really help that I got better at it and knew what to look for. And everytime I thought about doing another playthrough with a new class, I shuddered at the thought of all the scanning I'd have to do. In my fifth and so far last, I set the difficulty down to Veteran and didn't do any upgrades except the three Normandy combat ones. The combat was retardedly easy at that level, but I just couldn't bring myself to do anymore scanning. With that out of the way, I'll use the Overlord DLC as an excuse for at least one more full-blown playthrough.
