 I'm on the 360.

Whenever I try and do a match in the holodeck of the station, at random times my box gives up and says it can not read the disk. This happens at random times during a match, right at the start, the middle, or even one time (yes I was SO GOD DAMN pissed off) at the end of the last hold the line mission that admiral yellsalot made.

I popped in other games and played them for a bit and nothing. So it cant be my box.

I popped ME 1 in again and left the station and landed on feros and fought a bit. Again nothing.

It seems that this is only related to the station. Any help please? 'tis annoying.

As a DLC, Pinnacle Station would be on your 360's hard drive (or memory unit). That's probably the difference with the other cases, in which it would be loading from the DVD (unless you've installed any of those games to the hard drive).

So, perhaps not the best of news for your 360 hard drive. If you delete and re-download the DLC, though, that could possibly help.

Two questions:

1) If it was a hard drive problem, would it read as a disk problem?

2) If I do delete/re-download, will any of my saves be effected? I wont delete it, then start a char that is in the station up, but if i do delete it, I will kill it and re-download it in one fell swoop. That would lead to no DLC error right?

3) Thanks for replying

1) I'm no expert on the 360 so I can't answer with certainty. Since you say you can play the non-DLC portions of ME fine, it seems logical that it would be the DLC data (stored on the HD) where it would be running into trouble. But I can't guarantee you the problem lies there.

2) As far as I know the save data and DLC data are stored separately, so yeah, I think you'd be fine deleting it. Even if you tried to load a save up before you then re-downloaded it, I don't think the game alters the save files in any way just because it runs in to an error loading them.

3) You're welcome. :) Sorry I don't have a firm answer for you, it is indeed a weird problem.
