It's difficult as she's one of the weakest to be left holding the line, and even more so as non-loyal.I012345 wrote...
IF you give the information about her father over to the admirals can she stil survive the final missions? Everybody else on my squad was loyal and i let the crew go without one of my squad just to make sure there would be as many people as possible holding the line. And she still didn't make it. Is she just not meant to survive if she's not loyal? Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.
If you want the crew to survive: Use Mordin as escort, bring Jack and Kasumi to final boss
If you don't want the crew: Bring Mordin and Kasumi to final boss
That might leave enough strong defenders to keep Tali alive, but I've never tried it.

Any non loyal characters in holding the line will die, unless they are sent back with the survivors.
Besides...why would you give the info to them.

I'm replaying the game several times to make sure I have all possible outcomes for ME3. So I wanted games where I gave the evidence, got her exiled, and convinced the admirals to keep her without evidence. This was the playthrough where I gave the evidence up. Didn't even consider her dying until I realized towards the end that, that was a possibility. Thanks to the second poster. i also just realized there's a sticky that's somewhat similar to this. I had Garrus and Grunt in my group when I did the final fight last time. I'm going to replay it and try just takiong Kasumi and Mordin as recommended. Hopefully that will help. Thanks a lot for the assist.

I checked my magazine from gamestop, and they have a nice little chart of what "your perfect playthrough" is like. and it says, any "non loyal squadmates die in holding line" only way to avoid it, is to send your non loyal member with the survivors....

That's not true, actually. Non-loyal squadmates can survive holding the line depending on who they are.Spartas Husky wrote...

I've had a playthrough where I left non-loyal Zaeed and non-loyal Samara to hold the line and got everyone else killed, but both of those two still survived.
I have also heard of a playthrough where someone left non-loyal Grunt behind to defend it solo and Grunt still survived. However, he was the only squadmate still alive and thus Shepard ended up dying anyway (2 squadmates required).

FOund it:
Bioware's Tip:While Sheperds battle past is fighting the last boss, the rest of your squad will be holding the line. Less combat or unstable characters like mordin and Jack, are likely to die or put other team members holding the line at risk, especially if they ar enot loyal.
Battle tested soldiers like Grunt and Zaeed can actually save lives of others holding the line. These factors determine how many party members are killed during their last stand. Non loyal squad members will die first in no specific order. . FOllowed by looyal ones according to this order of physical prowess:
Modrin, Tali Kasumi, Jack, Miranda, Jacob, Garrus, samara/Morinth, legion, thane, zaeed, grunt. From Lowest chance to greatest chance.

Also, I don't think a disloyal character can survive escorting the survivors.

ACtually you right, I duno.
Says here:
DO you send a party member to escort cre members:
yes:
is escort loyal:
yes, everyone survives,
no, crew survives escort dies.
so there u go, I was mistaken, anyone not loyal most likely dies lol.....
actually....it says here, any non loyal squad members you bring with you to the final boss fight die as well......never have done something like that but there u have it.

Damn. They have no respect for Tali's prowess whatsoever. In ME1 half the time she was last woman standing cause her shields were so crazy high. Guess those days are gone.

I've actually never used Legion besides his loyalty mission. When the overlord DLC comes on I'll have to give him a whirl.

Make sure to get him the two Geth Shield Strength bonuses, the Widow and all the Damage Protection bonuses for your squad.I012345 wrote...

With Geth Shield Boost refreshing his Tali-like shields constantly, quick in-and-out Widow fire and Combat Drone to distract, Legion is basically invincible unless completely surrounded.

You know I actually love the way Grunt just goes ballistic. The first time I played the game and went through the Derelict Reaper I actually had a lot of the toruble with the husks. Seeing him suddenly bathe in the glory of battle, scream "I AM KROGAN!" , and charge into the thick of things just infused me with confidence. I started barreling right behind him through the opposition. Probably my favorite ME2 moment. lol
Legion sounds really damn cool. Next playthrough when I have everybody loyal I'll use him in the boss batle and see what it's like.

A nonloyal Tali can still survive holding the line. When it comes to holding the line, the key is the overall defense score. If you meet this defense score, no one will die. If you don't meet this defense score, there is an order in which the squadmates start dying, beginning with the nonloyal first and then to the loyal.Spartas Husky wrote...

I have had various nonloyal squadmates survive holding the line. In fact, you can theoretically have everyone in your squad survive the suicide mission with only four loyal.
Also, just to throw it out there, a nonloyal Grunt can hold the line by himself.
