That is indeed a good news. It was about time. Weird how some people are saying that it was sony's mess that bioware is fixing. Did any other games start crashing after firmware update? To the best of my knowledge NO! I have never had any problems with DLCs of any other games ever. I might be wrong but I don't think any of this was Sony's doing

I hope we get a response from BioWare or Sony regarding the patch's availability in the US. I want to know when I can start playing again.

freezes /crashes referered to in the patch details is the ps3 locking up completely, i'm sure most are aware of that. But i think some of you might be thinking it will fix "stuttering" / "frame rate issues" which it probably won't. (although i haven't tested it yet). Just to avoid confusion

I got 4 hours with no freezing after downloading the patch. Frame rate still stutters when I enter a big battle but its playable Hope you guys in the US get it soon!

At least for me, the darkspawn trophies ARE NOT fixed.

I had a savegame with exactly 999 dead darkspawn. After playing for a while I managed to kill six more darkspawns. No trophy. It's from my second character, and now I am playing my third main character, a dwarf. So I've maybe killed over 2.000 darkspawn.



As for the rest, I've just played half an hour. No crashes. I won't get all the trophies, but at least I can go on enjoying the game.
