Since I downloaded the patch onto my game, I've been getting the oddest glitches when it comes to the character voices. So far it's affected Garrus and Miranda on the loyalty missions, where their voices will suddenly, for no reason, drop down to sound like Barry White-type deepness. I wrote it off when it happened to Miranda but just now, Garrus got hit with it. It's abnormally deep, like a whole new voice actor!

Update on my problem, just heard female Shepard do the voice drop in the collector's ship. Joker did it a couple times too.
And the problem is, it happens randomly and if I reload the save to try and catch it, it doesn't do it. So it's a random glitch.

Happened to me once with Kotor 2 and I think ME1, though that may have been me, without any patches. So I don't think the glitch is even exclusive to Bioware games, it might just be a random glitch with no relation to the patch.
A really annoying sound glitch-whenever Admiral Hackett gives his closing line reviewing how I did in an assignment, his last line is inaudible, every bloody time.

It didn't happen my first play through, not even on my second...I get the patch and it starts doing it.

Just out of curiosity, I have a couple of questions:
1.) What class are you playing (yes this is potentially relevant lol)
2.) Are you in combat or a cut scene when this happens?
To go ahead and answer any of those, If you are playing a soldier and sprinting while NPCs/Squadmates are talking, it slows their voices down. Has something to do with your sprint speed being faster than other classes and consequently having a "slow down" effect like AR or Sniper Sight.
Secondly, relating to number 2 it is during combat that this typically happens because, relating back to 1.) of the Soldier class.
Although, Im pretty sure you're probably experiencing it during cut scenes but I thought I'd just put it out there just in case the above scenario indeed was the issue.

Well Aradace, you nailed it on the head. I am a soldier and in combat when these things happen. That explains things, thank you!

I only notice it when I am running at full sprint.

Yea, it's always been like that lol...I was also kinda "WTF?!" at first too. But yea, it seems that instead of actually "speeding your sprint up" as a Soldier, it seems to have a "Time Dialation" effect. Which IMO is cooler than actually "being faster" anyway because I cant count how many times Ive been full sprint on my Soldier and "Neo'd" a few rockets from some Heavies while sprinting to my next cover lol.

I've been having this problem since the game was launched and only when sprinting. I think it's because while sprinting the game world slows down to give that epic action feel but for some reason so do the voices. Whether it's by design or not it's very annoying and i hope they fix it.
