You can't travel the world map. You get locations in Denerim as you progress.

Press "Other Campaigns" on the main menu.DIrishB wrote...
Just a quick question...how do you initiate the Darkspawn Chronicles when you load the game? Is it a separate save, or just a separate character (the darkspawn you play as)? Do you just start in Denerim (without the ability to travel the world map)? Just wondering...
It does end up as a seperate character. My avatar is currently the character image you get from your Darkspawn Chronicles save -- I'll leave it that way until Overlord for ME2 comes out I think
As was said, yes - you move through only Denerim's maps in a linear fashion similar to the "real" battle in Origins.

Only problem is that the game crashed once. Aside from that, it's fantastic.

legit gripe or not, look at the thread title. he can post his crap in one of the other 500 threads complaining about patches. his post compared to the thread title makes it spam. i came to this thread to read about the topic. don't tell me not to read his post. that's just plain stupid. until i read it i don't know the poster is spamming the thread with garbage unrelated to the topic.Grimgor79 wrote...

I'd love to! Has the XB360 version of the game finally been patched up to the same level/features/behavior as the PC version? If so, I'll jump right on this. But I'm not buying any Bioware products at all, of any sort, on any platform, until that happens.Lead the darkspawn horde and herald the coming of the archdemon!
hi spammer.
He has a legit gripe, if you dont like it stop reading it and certainly dont respond to it. Was your post any better than his?

Serious question: Are those of you reporting that you "only had one CTD" actually happy about that? That made you happy? Is that the new expectation level these days? Pathetic.....
Oh and.....no patch, no $$$. Don't care if this DLC is god's own wine. Get off your six month, no relevant console patch asses and fix my product to the specifications listed in the freakin' manual.

Then let me clarify what I mean by relevant.
Something that fixes a problem recorded since release. Not something that fixes a problem introduced by another fix. (Example, patch that locked specializations then the following patch that fixed it. That doesn't count. This PS3 patch is in the same category. Doesn't count.)
Second, all software has the amount of bugs the customer will ALLOW it to have. The amount of console bugs in this piece of software is atrocious. But that's not the real problem. The 6 months since release without any signficant repairs (3 game breaking bugs on the Xbox version) or any repairs at all to speak of. That's the problem.
Oh and now I'm repeating myself from the 20 times I've already explained in the detail all of these issues. So why don't you go educate yourself instead of braying like another one of these sheep you purport to not be...
I'd like my patch now.....

News fresh flash, have you looked into that news flash, or even read it... 8 out of 10 complained, that why Victor is answering... and you don't need an Ipad, just a PS3

This made me realise just how much I focused on abilities that prevent knock down for my fighter characters in the normal campaign.

On the plus side, it's a pretty long DLC! Only a little shorter than both quests in The Stone Prisoner I'd say, so I split it into two evening's play. Good value for money.
Overall, I enjoyed it. Definitely a fun little dungeon crawl.
I'd love to see this alternate universe revisited in the future: how would having the Archdemon still alive and kicking affect the conflict between The Mother and The Architect?

Considering most people have beat Dragon Age (perhaps more than once) now, I'm not sure how important "lewts" is to DLC. Fun should be the focus
Agreed. And it was fun.
Plus, we do get Blightblood, a sword with a perma-poison effect, which is pretty awesome.
(Although only Warriors and Rogues can use it... what about my Arcane Warrior? And what's a Rogue gonna do with a 2-handed sword anyway?)
