I was thinking that the next time i play when i get to saren i'm just going to head into the console and blast up my exp to 60 so i can have a fully leveled shepard in me2 without having to play me1 twice. anyone know if doing this has any adverse effects?
Can console commands f- up your me1 import/achievements? (pc)

It shouldn't. The devs have confirmed there are no special trips in ME2 for saves that used the console. So the important thing is to make sure you don't use the cheats to do something you couldn't have done in game given enough time. (i.e., ghost through a wall and skip a story flag you should have had to set one way or another - that would probably be bad news.) Since it is fully within the game to reach level 60 - it just takes a long darn time without the console - I think you'd be fine to do that.
At least one of the chars I've played ME2 through with had some cheated-on experience, and nothing went wrong that I could see.

Yeah, I do kinda wish they'd made some more dlc so we could get up to 60 in a single playthrough but i guess it's too late for that now.
