Might be a coincidence, or might not, but since installing v1.01 I can't load the game.  The launcher screen is open right now where I can see;

• Configure
• Support
• Uninstall
• Documentation
• Website
• Exit
• PLAY

But upon clicking PLAY, nothing happens.  I can spam hit that PLAY button all day, but the game isn't loading.  I've tried booting it from the desktop icon, but also from the DVD's Autoplay feature, it's not happening!  Suggestions anyone?   I only got to play it once!

Same here and this is also after applying the patch. All the other options work, just can't start the game. The cruel irony is I almost didn't apply the patch since it seemed mainly just to adjust the difficulty because apparently the game was so teh hard

I'm on XP Home 32 bit.

Note that it HAD worked previously, just not anymore.

Check to make sure that you are the administrator on the computer



After that, Try loading it from the game directory instead of from the desktop icon or the autorun

I'm amazed that the patch-problems still haven't seen ANY official response. What a bad time for the whole Bioware-crew to go on vacation.
