another tip about dying is Ser Cauthrien.. make sure you have a save before entering that room and if you can't manage to win the fight then reload and surrender by talking to do the jailbreak. If you go through to start the fight and go to jail via losing it WILL count as a death even though you aren't technically killed, only injured.

Baloney, that one does not necessarily kill you.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Also in the Brecillian Forest there is a trap which "kills you" near the grand oak (looks like a campsite) , making you gain an injury so do try to avoid.

The character selected to *remain alive* is the one with the highest willpower.

Oooh I figured only mages could resist. Good to know.

Um my only injury was this on my mage run through and I only fell that one time, and did not get the acheivement. Better to avoid though if you are after the acheivement, since the loot I think only gets you 2 gold total.
I got the achievement on my 2h warrior run, and only Wynne survived that encounter. So, no, I don't think it counts.

That doesn't count against any of the "stay alive" acheivements. You can get them despite "going to sleep" at that wraith encounter.Giggles_Manically wrote...

On the other hand, Getting killed by Ser Cauthren DOES count, so don't fight her unless you fully plan on winning

Just make sure your main character has "at least" 26 willpower to survive the "sleep"...and fight the monster. Thats all....no need to avoid the fight.

My last playthrough was as a warrior and I left Wynne back at camp because she was the only one with higher willpower, and thus my tank was the one to fight the monster.

Weird. Does anyone know if the main character can keep the rest of the party from going to sleep here? I had one where it was DW rogue, Zevran, Wynne, and Sten- the shade outright attacked us instead of the usual nap time. No one fell asleep.
