Hi.
I bought Dragon Age Origins a few months ago and the expansion recently.
I cannot log into my account in game (the waiting comm-bar appears for a second and disappears). If I try to log
into my account in the BioWare SocialNetwork site, and buy points through there, i get an error saying that:
"The login details you provided were invalid. Please try again."
It must me a mistake since in order to get to that points-buy page, i had to successfully log in. I even tried to change my password a few times, but nothing.
I read through some-what similar posts on the forum but none of the answers there helped.
Can you please help me? I wish to buy points and use them to get new content.

Have you recently done or said anything that would have gotten you banned? Good way to check is to go to EA and try to login there (if its the correct password but your banned, only there will it say that your actually banned). If it doesnt say your banned, you should be able to try changing your password there which may help...also may suggest simplifying it (just letters and numbers, maybe?)

Not banned. Managed to log in through there successfully.
Problem is that when i go to "Buy Bioware Points" through this site, i get the aforementioned error, and i cant log into my account via the game as well.
If i try to create a new account (via ingame), i get a "Server can't be reached" or something similar error.
Is there anyway to make sure any ports / settings are set for that? (like a list of ports and a URL to check that i can reach the server)

Doubt thats your problem - I'll check on it though. Personally had to reconfigure the heck outa my router to make sure GfWL worked...didn't have to add any ports for EA/DA:O/ME2 to work though. Did you try simplifying your password (no special characters)?
Edit: Didn't find anything on port-restrictions relating to DA:O or ME2. Did find some reports on complications on purchasing points if your in the military (as in, if you have a APO or FPO address). Clicky if your in the military.
