Ok well i got the new DLC for dao and i must say that was worth 5bucks to behead alistar and the gang but when i was in the market district running down civilians with my oger i cornered wade and herren then herren changed into a desire demon! i knew he was greedy now i know why. Not a huge shock to be honest but it suprised me greatly at first.

I think everyone was taken by surprise, lol. It's a great little easter egg to put in there. I wonder if they considered him to be possessed all along or if that was just something they put into the DLC as a joke. It is an "alternate reality" after all, so he may not necessarily be a desire demon at all.

True true but he is still money greedy and hates wade using his time to craft art and not make money. Your most likely right though since we weren't around to pay 70soverins for wades superior dragon plate armor he had to sell his soul to pay the bills .

Good point. It seems entirely likely that Herrens greed lead to a deal with a desire demon. I keep forgetting that they aren't just about lust, but about all forms of greed and desire.

Mmhm i wish there was a codex about it, i'd like to see biowares take on it lol but i will never look at herren the same way again. I felt horrible killing wade because he always made me laugh on Origins/Awakening.

I felt horrible killing Gorim and Teagan. And in the last fight, I kept trying to attack the archdemon, lol. Can't get my head around being the bad guys.

It was hard for me at first I must admit i never had any love for teagan but watching leliana and morrigan get swarmed by genlocks made me feel bad. Although the killing blow on alistar was awesome i still wish he pulled this victory off he almost made it!

Did you actually manage to kill him? I tried twice but Herren, or at least what was left of him in his new form, formed a barrier that protected them both until they teleported away from the battlefield. Am I missing something?

Wow that new to me , always managed to kill them both , then the Desire demon disappears , Had no idea that Herran change into the Demon.

Was a big surprie to me too. in my case de demon protected wade from taking few hits but i managed to kill him. After wade's death the demon desapperead and i wasn't able to hit him the whole time.

Btw for me being in the dark side is not a news: in main campaign my pc is so mean that half of the npc (party member included) that you have to kill with darkspawn are also dead in the origins reality (alistar, zevran, winnie, leliana, gregoir, cullen, just to mention few) >.<

Yea I am very surprised about Wade and Herren. Couldn't attack them at all, no way in hell! But killing Arl Howe was fun! Yippeee!!!

Indeed so was I. However in Awakening he was there so I wonder whether anything might arise in DA2 from his demon side.
