Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the name of velanna's facial tattoo. I wanted to make a new face morph for her in the toolset with her original tattoo on, but I can't seem to find out what it is called.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.

yeah i swapped out her head morph. sorry, I dont know the face tattoo (may not even be in the core DA files, it may be a new tattoo for awakening) but I suggest the dalish tattoos may be suitable? be sure to try all the channels for the tattoo appearance you're looking for.

It shouldn't be too hard to find. Velanna's head morph should be stored in one of the .erf files that came in the expansion pack (face.erf, to be specific). From there, it's just a matter of prodding around the .mor file for her. The answer appears to be 'uh_pct_exp_0t'. Extract the appropriate files from texturepack.erf (located under the medium folder) and channel 3 is the one you want for Velanna's tattoo.

hmmm, it doesn't seem to be working. Do I extract straight into the documents --> override folder? And what do you mean by appropriate files? are you just talking about uh_pct_exp_0t, uh_pct_exp_0tl2, and uh_pct_exp_0tl3, or are there other files I need to extract? sorry, I'm no serious modder, so this is all quite new to me! but thank you for your help any way.

conjecture here, based on what tattercloak was able to find (im not sure of directories as im not at my computer, but you should be able to work them out):
- in the toolset, open program files/dragon age/packages/core/textures/medium/texturepack.erf
- locate the resource 'uh_pct_exp_0t' and extract the resource (r click)
- place it in your my docs/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override
- restart toolset
- open morph editor - you should now be able to select the 'uh_pct_exp_0t' as a type of tattoo (may need to change the dropdown to "all files" if its filtering it out)
- once youve made the head as you like, post to local (ensure you give it the correct name) and save in my docs/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override

I looked in that texturepack.erf, but I didn't see the specific uh_pct_exp_0t tat. as a side note, I got Zev's tat working, but I didn't see Velanna's.

I didn't go into specifics at first (I wasn't sure if it would be frowned upon by BioWare) but yes, I found that you have to extract it directly to the override folder and not into a subfolder of the override folder (I tried). And gemc123 got it, those are the files that you want to extract.
