What would YOU like for a new DLC?

Maybe a shady character behind the stables who promises to track down rare items for coin. Of course, once he or she tells me where the item is, I still have to go and get it, by coin or sword.

I agree with this statement somewhat.ZeshinX wrote...
I wouldn't mind DLC that has you assume the role of Duncan (or one of the Wardens under his command, aside from Alistair) prior to the origin stories. Show him and/or the other remaining Grey Wardens discovering that a Blight is coming (and how they discovered, the adventures had), showing how Duncan chooses what location to go looking for a new Warden(s), etc. The end of the DLC could be Duncan choosing to go to and perhaps giving that recruit a few items to help out (or instead of items, a new specialization for each of Warrior, Rogue and Mage learned during the discovery of this new Blight).
What I'd actually like to see is that, but not until AFTER the first already written prequel "The Stolen Throne" is given an (abridged possibly) playable adaptation.
Anyone who hasn't read The Stolen Throne would finally get more perspective on the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden and Loghain's motivations.
And anyone who has read The Stolen Throne would get to hear a voice actor for Maric

id like to see one that takes place back at the first blight you are the main grey warden and you got to fight off the arch demon but make something like the final battle be an attack on your base probebly be weishap fortress ( yes i know i didnt spell it right) and you got to defend it off at the end and kill the arch demon. other then that im all for the dalish idea
I'm making a mod for the fourth blight were the elven grey warden defeats the archdemon and all that its about 10+ hours of gameplay i think we are still not finished if you would like to help message me or click the links below and message one of the leaders but anyway i would like to see a Qunari origin as well and maybe a human commoner origin. Oh and can't forget the Griffons!
Another idea is being able to travel overseas and stuff maybe on the pearl's duelist's ship or something.

Since this game seems to be turning into Neverwinter Nights, more modules like... Neverwinter Nights. A roguelike mode for instance, or a side story that really has nothing to do with the main game's plot (play as a pirate for instance, or a soldier).
Is this bad? ":)Me wants more NWN:)"

I also would like to see an exploration of blood mages.
A DLC dealing with the remnants of the the Cult of Andraste would be interesting.

To expand on one mentioned, PC, Dog and brother Fergus travel back to Cousland castle to retake, parents funeral, and have option of exploring the Highever alienage there as well.
Other ideas...
-Defending Fereldan from Qanari invasion, running into Sten in the process then either convince him to join your side or fight him (similar to Zev?)
-Finding Morigan and son/daughter
-Epic quest to search for the resting place of each of the guardians that are in the Urn guantlet
-Work with Shianni to eliminate the alienages around Fereldan

Morrigan was found and returned. Leliana of course stayed with the grey warden as mentioned in the epilogue
Darkspawn are once again a threat and needs to be addressed..but that won't be the main threat.
There is no archdemon leading them this time...they are the remnants of the darkspawn that survived the final battle but are re-establishing themselves.
The main threat comes from a Qunari invasion. it had to happen and it is upon us.
I need a good rest first.

If you ignore Darkspawn Chronicles no.

An alternate telling of the story where the player's Warden dies and Jowan has to stop the blight. Oh yes.
I want this.
So bad.
I bet him and Alistair would be best friends after some days of traveling

Like if Alistair and my HNF marry. A simple scene of my character walking down in the landsmeet in a dress to Alistair
If a character decideds to travel with AListair/Zevran/Leliana whoever they chose, you get to see them go off into the sunset.
Also a DLC if you didn't kill Cauthrien and she is seeking revenge for Loghain.

I'd also like a DLC geared to ruling (depending on your choices in the epilogue) similar to what Awakenings has. That was the funnest part of the expansion for me.

And fixed arms, for the dwarven females.

I thought the dwarf arm mod was being released soon. At least that's what it looked like from what's going on in that dwarven appreciation thread.
Anyway I'll be happy with any DLC that isnt just equipment. I might even buy a DLC that is totally focused on Dog. No voice actor necessary:wizard:

Awakenings moved the story forward and yet stilled it, due to less than half the people who bought DA:O purchasing DA:A.
Any DA:O DLC either has to be in the vein of Darkspawn Chronicles,
OR
Take place BEFORE the conclusion of events in DA:O.
Basically more side stories.
And I am so completely sick of DA:O that I don't want to replay it just to experience another 5 minute quest.
And that's really all they can do at this point. They are completely hamstrung.
