You're just being a jerk and judging the worth of my thread(which has five stars by the way) by the way I communicate. I very much doubt you had difficulty understanding any of my previous posts and are simply doing this to provoke me. Don't be so pedantic, it reflects on you in a negative way. If you intend to discuss the thread's topic I'd be delighted for you to do so. Otherwise please leave.

So you have no intention of discussion the matter at hand. Would you please leave?
On Topic: Cerberus may be pivotal in the battle due to their intimate knowledge of Reaper technology.

Who could the humans defeat in an all out war?
Turians: No.
The Turians have the largest military fleet in Council space. Going by the number of dreadnaughts they outnumber the Alliance fleetby atleast ten to one.
Asari: No
Allthough the Asari fleet is disorganized, it is probably still far larger than the Alliance fleet. What is also important is that going to war with the Asari would be devastating to the Alliance's economy, seeing as how the Asari have the largest ecnomy in the galaxy and therefore many trade agreements with the Alliance.
Salarians: No
Although the Salarian fleet is small they make up for it with their intelligence services. Not even Cerberus can rival them.
Drell, Hanar, Elcor, etc: Yes.
These species are very weak and should be easy prey
Batarians: Yes
The fact that the Batarians were driven out of the Skyllian Verge by the humans proves that the humans are more powerful.
Krogan: Draw
The total number of Krogan in the galaxy is unknown. Also they don't seem to hae any kind of fleet or army. However as everyone knows they are extremely tough, they have a redundant nervous system, secondary and tertiary organs and can withstand radation and extreme temperatures. Also there are over 2 billion Krogan on Tuchanka alone. Although the Alliance might have a larger fleet, they would lose against the Krogan in a ground battle.
Quarians: No.
The Quarians have the single largest fleet in the galaxy. Although not all of them are military craft they still outnumber the humans by a very large margin.
Geth: Unknown.

The Normandy class vessels will be outstanding for performing surprise attacks.
The flotila also provides the Alliance with an opportunity for highly effective chokepoint based defensive tactics. If they can jump a fleet into a cluster with the flotila, they can completely deny access to the Mass Relay, which is the only way out of the cluster. Ergo, the quarians are trapped, and must either cease offensive operations and just hide, or risk a direct confrontation with technologically superior alliance forces.
Once they jump in, they can commence defensive opeartions, i.e. laying "stealthy" nuclear mines (in the sense that they have no heat coming off them because they're passive and cold to start with, and can be made radar/LADAR absorbant, or even just putting a set of F'off huge guns into orbit around the relay.
Normandy class vessels can scout out enemy positions and do hit 'n' run attacks on the flotilla. Fire missiles from short range, then as soon as they leave the ship, do a short, blind FTL jump to evade retaliation.

The quarian fleet is useless (too old), I think the alliance would win
the rest: I agree

The main reason for their ability to succeed would be their ingenuity and adaptability even though th fleet is relatively small.

Well, if the humans beat the Turians in the First contact war, even if it wasn't really a war, I would put money on them being able to beat any other race individually.

erm, we didn't really beat a fleet of their ships, we took some of their ships off-guard in a retaliatory strike. The turians were overconfident and overstretched and paid for it on that one occasion.
They know what we can do much more effectively now and I kinda doubt they'd make the same mistake twice.
Better details here
The asari could build the Destiny Ascension, a ship capable of blowing holes in any ship in the Alliance fleet (ok, it may have been made out of tissue paper and wishful thinking judging by its performance at the Battle of the Citadel, but still...).
the salarians keep track of things. Any planned attack on them would probably find its main staging area on the receiving end of multiple nukes a couple hours before go time.
As to the other races? pfft cannon fodder. Unless they're a client race and can call on the main 3 for help, they're done.

Turians outguns humans.
Asari and Salarians outsmarts humans.
The rest, yes probably but it would cost humans too much so let's avoid the risk.
Humans will stay a small fish in a big pond for another century or two so let's be nice so we don't get bombed, neutered, bought, convinced, converted etc.
AlieRns... Thanks for making me smile original post.
