[In Exile]

My Digital Download of ME1 won't properly install. Whenever the instalation is 13.9% complete I receive an error message saying: "Error opening file for writing C:\\\\Games\\\\Mass Effect\\\\saferun.exe Click abort to stop the installation... etc."

A lengthy google searched showed that this has happen to a few people, but the posts and links I found related to dealing with a physical copy instead of a digitally downloaded one. So I'm really not sure what I can do.

Oh, and as a fun aside, the EA download manager also tells me that the product key that came with my download is
invalid. But that's an entirely different issue, since I'd at least like to have the download working so I can play the game.

A few more details than "me too" is required.
Windows version and service pack level?
Game source. Steam, EADM/Origins, Disk,or other download?
Logged in with admin rights, or running the app as admin, and running in XP compatability mode?
