This may be a little off the topic of ME for some people but I was thinking today and I actually think ME2 is my fav game of all time, which seeing as I've been playing games since I was 5 that's saying something. It trumps Ocarina of Time and RE4 for the top spot I think. What's your favorite?

A tie between Mass Effect 1 and TLoZ: Ocarina of Time. Nostalgia permits me to say Ocarina of Time, but when I revisit the game, I immediately wonder why I ever liked it. Yet, for the N64, it was simply amazing. But it doesn't even come close to eclipsing the feeling of beating ME1 for the first time, though, which was the moment when I realized that games had finally encroached upon territory normally reserved for Hollywood. Simply put: nothing compares to the first play through of ME1. Nothing. That game was, and will remain, a sterling example of what the medium can achieve.

OoT will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was the first "real" videogame I remember playing. The same can be said for MMX 1-3, but not quite to the extent of the time I've logged on Oot.



Mass Effect may be my favorite modern series, but nostalgia wins in this instance.

Knights of the Old Republic, but both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 are in my top 10 games of all time list.

My favourite is Thief: The Dark Project. There's something about sneaking into a mansion patrolled by stupid guards without being detected and snitching everything of value with no one the wiser.

ME series, KOTOR series, TES4: Oblivion, MGS series, Zone of the Enders:2nd Runner, and The Legend of the Dragoon for me. I can play these games over and over and they never lose their original charm.

Forgot to add the 2D Metroid games. Especially Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission.

THE WITCHER OVER ALL THE BEST RPG I HAVE EVER PLAYED Just really draws you in., Oblivion MODDED, GTA SA MODDED, Diablo II+ expansion, 007 Golden Eye, Pokemon heartgold(I like it more then the original surprisingly) JADE EMPIRE that was one of the best games ever.
Duke nukem 3D, KOTOR 1! forget 2.
Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Courter strike source, Assassins Creed 2 Red Dead Redemption* I know it just came out but this game OWNS
Just cause 2, Batman arkham asylum, Dragonage Origins I replied like 50 times but after playing ME2 I just can't get over the nasty graphics and bad frame rate*PS3 FTL should have gone PC* Ninja Gaiden Black, God of war 3, Heavy Rain and OVER all MASS Effect 1 over Mass Effect 2.

lol @ people turning up their noses at "OoT". I've seen it all now.

My favorite game of all time is "Mass Effect 2". Prior to that it was probably "Chrono Trigger" or "OoT". I'm fairly old (33) and I've played so many games up until recently I never really thought about my favorite one.

Second, all thou when I go back and play it its still really fun but it makes me fell old.
