Super Mario 64! Gets overlooked for OoT more than it should, IMO ):

The early Pokemon games, hell yeah.

More recently though? Definitely both MEs.

KoToR 1, ME2, ME1, Company of Heroes, CoD 4.

I imagine KoToR 2 would've been on this list, but the restoration project fell apart.

*shakes fist at LucasArts for cutting 6 months off the development time*

North & South was fun.

There's been so many games I've played in my life already...

I say games that bring me lots of nostalgia are awesome, Super Mario Bros 2 / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 on the NES, Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. Super Mario 64 / Mario Kart 64, Legend of Zelda games. Pokemon games on the Gameboy (even Pokemon Stadium on the N64). Metal Gear Solid.

Edit: Also add Unreal Tournament 2004 to the list, how could I forget this one! Had put over 800 hours into this game.

And more recent: definitely Mass Effect 1 & 2, I've put over 300 hours in ME2 already and I'm definitely not done with it yet.

I have also been playing Modern Warfare 2 recently, I was really biased about this game without ever playing it first, but it's really fun - haven't played a CoD before this one though.

Don't tell me these songs don't give you a warm feeling inside if you have played these games before all those years ago.

Literally for 12+ hours at a time. Me and 3 of my buddies, all night and day. Didn't accomplish much when "Goldeneye" came out, and it's uncharacteristic of me to play a video game for that long.

I could NEVER get used to the controls. I mean auto centering when you let go of the stick? What the hell?

Thief.
My heart keeps coming back to these games; their masteful story telling, the gruffy Masterhief, the excellent VO and the intriguing steam punky setting won't ever let me go. RIP Looking Glass. You're still missed. I did like Deadly Shadows as well, but more so out of loyalty. The game couldn't stand up to its classic forerunners.

Splinter Cell
With Double Agent crossed from my mind and Conviction taken with one eye tightly shut...

System Shock 2 and Deus Ex and Beyond Good and Evil follow quickly after.

And holding their own special place are the Mass Effect series, Knights of the Old Republic (1) and Jade Empire.

Howeva' if anyone was to ask me what games gave me the best fun by strictly speaking gameplay.... Mass Effect 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction would currently try to butt heads for first place.

I can tell many of you loved the Nintendo 64 back in the days. I was mainly a PS gamer at the time not being able to afford both consoles, but I've been emulating a lot of 64 games lately. Golden Eye was fun if you had other people to play with, otherwise it was Perfect Dark all day.

OoT should have never been on your list to begin with...

Let me guess, ... Sony Fanboy!?

Ocarina of Time is undoubtedly the begin of 3D gaming success and one of the best games ever created. And even if you don't agree with that personalized statement, you just have to look up the statistics.

Anyway, here's my list:

Civilization 4+Addons

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Fallout 3
Dragon Age: Origins
CnC Red Alert 1
CnC Tiberium Wars

Mass Effect 2 throw Morrowind of the throne for me. After this follow Mass Effect 1, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Dragon Age and all main GTA-titles since part 3. Oh, and Lands of Lore 2. How i loved this game (I guess there aren't many who say this).

Lands of Lore 2 is my top games too.

Thats the problem with a favourite game list, once I start remembering titles it turns into an essay.
