Baldur's Gate 2, is still my favourite. Although ME2 and other Bioware games are still up there.

O guys come on Oblivion was such a disaster ... it had a long good story but the game was too boring.
you should to walk, jump and swim to gain lvl ! ... to ice bolt 50 times to gain another lvl on destruction! and do thing more and more for nothing!
and what was this Idea of being bitten by the vampire (the cure was too hard & horrible and I could move only throw the night!) . and the sword, blunt and punch fighting is too repetitive and boring.

Yeah but there you have to say Shivering Isles was fun, you got to love the Daedric God.

X-wing
Tie Fighter
Freespace 2
Freelancer

I would have to declare Freepsace 2 the winner from this bunch. It was quite immersive.

RPG's:
Mass Effect 1 & 2
Dragon Age: Origins

ME2's better gameplay wins out over ME1's better story. Not much in it though.

Why not go there? Oblivion is one of my favorite games of all time. And I know a lot of people who feel the same way.

I never had the chance of playing it. I'm the type who's lucky to get a new game the moment it's a new release (or overall getting 1 or 2 new  game per year). Plus I got the N64 Expansion pack late (for Perfect Dark, which came out after Zelda: Majora's Mask which required it).

So many games over so many years.

Baldurs Gate 2: SOA, Pirates!, Mail Order Monsters, Racing Destruction Set, Archon, Defender of the Crown, Civilization, Space Quest, King's Quest 1-3, EverQuest, KOTOR, Destruction Derby and Armored Core on PlayStation. So many games from the Amiga 500 I can't even remember anymore.

Ooo, almost forgot, Starflight!
