Why would you patch the glitch to get extra points? I see no reason to take the time on fixing that when you could be fixing more important things. Kind of sad you can't even balance out the point system yourself as people would resort to using the glitch. Now I don't even want to play Mass Effect 2 and make new characters because of this lame update.

If any BioWare dev can respond, that would be great.

Because it's more balanced out than how BioWare actually made the game, which is sad.

There is other things they could've fixed but people will complain no matter what. Someone would've complained about the unfair points glitch if they fixed something else. It's a lose-lose situation.



You most likely won't get a Dev response because this is an extremely trivial reason to make a thread, let alone stop playing the game. They aren't goint to un-patch it so I don't understand complaining about it. It's done.

Would make sense, if they're going to use the EXACT same point system, but what if they change the point system like they did from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2? That's just another lame excuse that they use for everything.

What does that have to do anything about growing up you ****ing moron.
My reason for bringing it up is because the way they have the point system which is unbalanced is the reason I found it important to use the glitch.

Which Glitch are you talking about? I have beat the game Many times even got my first 3 hardcore play throughs done with out and glitching.

People **** and moan demanding that Bioware patch their games (and in the case of DA Awakenings for very good reason).. so when Bioware releases a patch that fixes a glitch (a bug) among other things, instead of thanking them for the patch, some people are gonna **** and moan about the patch.

Left over points that can never be used and talents that can never be maxed out because not enough points. And I'm not talking about maxing out EVERY single talent.

That depends on how you spend the points you get. It's possible to not have left over points. It's also possible Bioware will raise the level cap.
