No, I have taken into consideration what you've said.

Just let this guy b*tch, he'll eventually ask a dev to lock this thread because he doesn't want to be ridiculed. It's happened before.

Yea, so what? It's pretty annoying when immature kids spam the thread with pictures and can't come to realize what I was intentionally trying to say. Just like now...

So get off my nuts.

This is actually funny. Not like the other retarded spam.

I do my best.

If you care more about glitches in a game then the actual game itself, you should stop, sell the game, and move on to something else.

No. That is NOT the case. I don't care about glitches. I've been trying to make people understand that the lack of balance in the point system is the reason I had to resort to it. If it was balanced out and would allow you to max out your talents (not all talents of course)

llinsane1ll seems like the only mature person on this thread. He brought up a good point so quit it with the trolling and the immature comments. I never used any of the glitches myself but the skillpoint system can definitely use a patch to fix some of the problems it has.

wouldn't that turn the game into pure boring steamrolling? where's the excitement in that?

They've already commented about this. You should try reading!

From Christina Norman:

Hey guys the question has been raised, why did we fix the extra points glitch? ME2 is a single player game, and we generally don't fix glitches unless they could have negative consequences for our players.

When evaluating a glitch for a potential fix we ask ourselves:

- Are players who are not trying to glitch going to encounter this glitch?
- Could this glitch worse a player's play experience?

The extra skill points glitch could be encountered by players who are not trying to glitch pretty easily.

The extra skill points glitch could worse the play experience for players. Specifically, we can not guarantee the character import process will work properly for characters with extra skill points. These characters may fail to import, or their skill information may not import correctly. A lesser concern is, players attempting to play 100% legit games may end up with characters with extra skill points that cause them to feel their game is no longer legitimate.

Let me give you an example of a glitch we are not fixing. We're aware there are paragon/renegade glitches in the game. While some players could encounter those accidentally, the impact is pretty small. We've also determined this can not mess up the character import process into ME3. So, we are leaving paragon/renegade glitches alone and will not be fixing them.

I hope this clarifies what kinds of glitches we will and will not fix.

As a side note, I find it hilarious that you refuse to play a game that you can't cheat at.

Ok maybe I didn't say it properly. When you max out a couple of talents @ the max level your character is at, you are left over with extra points that you can't put into a talent that can't be maxed out. If there were enough points to actually use then i would have been happy and would never let it bother me. I don't like using glitches because I like to have my game information proper and organize as should have intentionally been.

This must be llinsane1ll's alternate account. He made another one to make it look like people agree with him.

good post Stinkface. Interesting but not surprising reasons to remove the glitch. well the good news is that with faster mining you could in a sense get a lot of Eezo to use retrain more often than not if you think you need the glitch.

Again, I think many of their reasons are just bad excuses and try to cover them up with a explanation. They screwed up on certain things. Period. I just can't really respect the fact that they try to justify it.

I never had leftover points when my character hit level 30.

Do you have nothing better to do besides go on my post that's 'immature'? Can be very easy to just stop posting and trying to argue with me. And no, I don't have multiple account.

Why would you patch the glitch to get extra points? I see no reason to take the time on fixing that when you could be fixing more important things. Kind of sad you can't even balance out the point system yourself as people would resort to using the glitch. Now I don't even want to play Mass Effect 2 and make new characters because of this lame update.

If any BioWare dev can respond, that would be great.

Translation: "Why did you fix an error in the game that I liked taking advantage of?"

Seriously, cry me a river... Patches fix errors/bugs/exploits, it's kinda what they exist for.
