Why would you patch the glitch to get extra points? I see no reason to take the time on fixing that when you could be fixing more important things. Kind of sad you can't even balance out the point system yourself as people would resort to using the glitch. Now I don't even want to play Mass Effect 2 and make new characters because of this lame update.

If any BioWare dev can respond, that would be great.

Translation: "Why did you fix an error in the game that I liked taking advantage of?"

Seriously, cry me a river... Patches fix errors/bugs/exploits, it's kinda what they exist for.

Why they took the glitch out is explained in the Announcement of the Patch in the Announcements forum by one of the Programmer Devs. Take the discussion there please
