I downloaded the Blood Dragon armor for my PC today and promptly made a Dwarf fighter noble. after playing through the story intro i loose all my starting gear as part of the story Hence losing my Downloaded Armor ! Has this been addressed ? will i get it back latter in the story ?

you will not get it back later in the story. It is a bug which slipped through play-testing ( and has been admitted somewhere here by a Bioware rep but the search does not work to find it )
Ok follow these instructions.
Load your current game when you are out of the origins part of the story line and then make another save. Exit the game to main menu.
Go to the downloadable content option in the menu and uncheck all of your DLC boxes.
Then load up the game you just saved telling it to force resume when it informs you that your game contains DLC that is not available. When that game has loaded, simply save it again and exit to main menu.
Return to the DLC option and turn everything back on. Load up the last game you just saved and any DLC that is available will be in your pack.
