NOt sure about %, but I have a wolf and it is good for distracting mages and engaging extra units (since you are normally outnumbered). I would like to upgrade to better animals, but so many talents, so little points!

I was wondering if your wolf automatically attacks enemies. You can't set up tactics for summoned animals and you can't put potions in their slots ... at least I have not found a way. I have not been using the tactic setups as situations are too fluid so I micro my characters.
I agree with you on the so little points and so many talents as it makes it hard to create a good character.
