I passed,   Concept doesn't fit the rest of the game.

Besides Bioware ripped off this mod: http://www.dragonage...                <_<

Bought, finished it. I found it nice. I normally don't play evil -- but...

Well there does not seem to be many that have bothered with this DLC Id love to see some sales figures from Bioware to see just how it sold.

It is pretty fun for the price definitely worth it, fun to fight some of your old companions and the DLC is a bit difficult

I say get it

No thanks, I don't find killing my old companions appealing, even if alternate universes are really great.

They usually are. AU gives a lot of opportunity to create a new story, or the potential to tell it from a compelling, other sight.

This DLC has done none of it.

For the record: I haven't bought it and never will. I don't need GTA with swords, thx.

Downloaded it for the PS3, just played through it twice. Ended up getting all 3 of the new achievements. I would say it's well worth the $5 dollar price tag. Hopefully the next DLC is more plot driven though.

I won't buy it, one form or another. I want DLCs that add more to my Warden experience.

Not this, no, sorry.

I just wish EA wouldn't push for so much DLC to come out. The only DLCs I liked were Warden's Keep and Shale's Pass, and that was only because I got some cool items, a companion, and a storage chest.

It was odd that the Archdeamon spoke in text. I would have expected a deep timbered female voice. But Hurlocks can read, go figure.

I heard that Fran Drescher was originally slated to do the voice of the archdemon for the DLC but schedule conflicts and time constraints ensured that it never came to pass.

I would give Chronicles a 6/10 for it's lack of replay value, as said before there is little compulsion to re-enter Chronicles after completion save for venting some anger against Alistair/Morrigan (at least for me).  The whole thing is combat, and honestly what else did anybody expect, but the combat is really a challenge with no resources.  Worth $5? I think so.  The greatest gift that chronicles gave us though is the humor of the forum goers all emotion over digital "love interest" being slain in the context of a joke/"what if" DLC.  Awww.....the ogre hurt Zevran Posted Image

It was a bit of fun and relatively cheap. I wouldn't really want more in this vein personally but I enjoyed certain parts (I won't mention any as this is a no spoilers forum :P) and it was something different.

interesting take on the battle of denerim, not to mention finding out how lethal some of the darkspawn really are when deployed properly.. the shriek for example does a really good impression of a ninja. yes its all combat, yes its short.

if your system lags when you have alot of combatants onscreen be aware you will get that alot with this DLC. restarting and turning down the graphics options to minimum helped me

glad that i stuck to my guns and not pay for this, as right now i find that bio-ware is lacking since ea bought them.

but then again anything ea touches turns to crap, i wish they would let bioware work like how they used to and just stay away from bioware altogether.

the combat of DAO is not strong enough to support pure hack&slash campains like this. it feeld empty & cheap.

the core of the thing (eg the textmessages of the dragon) could easily be mistaken for a user mod.

imo we dont need this kind of support (CASH COW), stick to the next game, developers.

plugin campains like RTO would be alright for open ended games like fallout (which I enjoy very much atm because of its easy toolkit), but storydriven/more linear games like DAO need real addons (awakening was overprized, too short and had way too generic side quests). its like a good book, you cant just insert small chapters later on and bioware should know that.

For 5 bucks, it was worth it.

It took me a little more than an hour to get to the end, but whew. I cannot tell you how satisfying it is to do a certain thing to a certain former party member. Call it payback, for all the jokes.

While it does lack in any amount of real story content, it's a nice little bit of fun just for the sake of fun.

The archdemon doesn't even speak through a "voice" in your mind? (I figured it would be some kind of raspy whisper or somesuch).

Just sends you text messages like a Twitter freak?

Boy, they really went more on the cheap than I thought.

Yeh i bought it last night and have played it twice. I enjoyed pwning the idiots that joked about me during origins and i could only let certian bosses own them. But now aleast i can do ownage finishers and make them have decent deaths.

Overall 10/10 because i enjoyed being a elite darkspawn :)

This is the way I feel...  Some days, All I want is some action, but the story can get in the way of it.  I do like the story, but after a stress full day -- I just want to beat up some NPCs before I drive into the story itself...
