Personally I really don't see it as cheating. Not like you were in a committed relationship to begin with. Besides, she didn't seem all that against a threesome with Ashley.

Go with the LI you're most interested in. Sheppard is nothing, if not charming. Come on, Sheppard is so charming that he manages to get a geth and a quarian to put aside their differences and work together. Never mind diffusing scores of other situations more explosive and dangerous than "Oh you broke my heart by preferring someone else rather than me"

Yeah but Jack is a drama queen, and I'm sure she wouldn't mind sticking it to Miranda that she slept with you, and if Liara was the jealous type it would rub more salt. That makes the situation so deliciously explosive.

I think tali would be the worst. I think she's most likely to go ballistic  if you sided with your ME1 LI. she seems like the type that would go obsessed psycho ex if you ever broke her heart. it's alway's the quiet ones:unsure:

romancing liara and then tali is probably the worst possible situation for shepard. you never really broke it off with liara so i can't see either of them taking rejection lightly. tali wasn't really a fling like miranda (or possibly jack) so my shepard is in one hell of a **** storm when ME3 comes around.

They're not going to implement some grand catfights into ME3....the worst that will happen is that the character you do not choose will stop talking to you. Each possible 'confrontation' scene will be a generic and lame rehash.



ME1 LI: I still like you Shepard.

ME2 LI: But you're with me now!

ME1 LI: You must choose one of us!



Shepard's dialog wheel options:

1) ME1 LI

2) ME2 LI

3) Both (get neither of them)



*Shepard picks ME2 LI*



ME2 LI: I'm so glad you picked me!

ME1 LI: ..... *walks away and Shepard cannot initiate dialog with them anymore*

c) Help jack - kills liara before things go out of hand.

d) Help Liara - kills jack and liara gets back with you

e) Break up fight (no morality) - No deaths, liara leaves and disappears mysteriously, becomes the nest matriach benezia.

Having a ME2 LI when you romanced Liara in ME1 is cheating on her. Unlike the other romances, Liara hasn't moved on. Everyone has a choice to what they do want to do in their game, but a Shepard who wants to cheat just because he thinks Miranda is hot seems like a cold hearted Shepard. Or at least thinking with the wrong head, so to speak.

Now that I think of it, ME2 didn't even have any romance confrontations scenes.   I wouldn't expect them to go all out in ME3 for a minor subquest (romances).

One thing, I can't see Bioware justifying with this whole "cheating" debate, that is the anger of the npc.I can't see a good reason why, in fact they should feel relieved that there not being guilted like your pc is back in to a relationship. It's been two years they've moved on,it wouldn't be fair to them to walk back into there life or your pc's life, who has to rebuild there life. I hope, Bioware really considers the logic of this "cheating" because it doesn't feel "cheating" and if is cheating Bioware has a big problem, cause if they never said it was cheating this argument this never would have happened, no would even considered it cheating. That a clear story mistake by Bioware.

I don't think it's going to be a big deal at all. People are just making a mountain out of a molehill in regards to this 'cheating' business. It's not like the Reapers will take over the galaxy if Shep cheated or something. They won't force an LI on you either...you'll get a choice.

So, I got 6 files.

Before Omega 4
1- Stayed faithful destroyed station
2- Stayed faithful gave station to TIM
-3-Cheated on Liara with Miri, destroyed station
-4-Cheated on Liara with Miri, gave station to TIM
(5) Cheated on Liara with Tali,  destroyed station
(6)Cheated on Liara with Tali, gave station to TIM
-----You can do the same ones as Jack if you like her, just do the same, I didn't coz...I just dont liek her.----
--7-- Cheated on Liara with jack, destroyed station
--8--Cheated on Liara with Jack, destroyed station


There you go. I got a saved file after finishing the game, 6 times, with each possible outcome when it comes to romanace options.

Just make sure, you talk to each one, and leave em 1 conversation away from being a LI before you go through Omega. That way, if you go through Omega 4, without talking you are seen looking at Liara's picture, and if you talk to either one of the 3, you get intimate.

You can't be faithful to someone who doesn't exist anymore. In ME2 Liara has been swapped with some other version of her from a parallel dimension, like in that Red Dwarf episode, so either way you're cheating.
