can this be done easily in the editor? i just want placeable wood tables that the player can click without having them flip.

I believe you can use placeables as normal objects when creating a level, and they would be exported along with the level as a non-placeable.

But if you are not making your own level that is out of the question :). Not sure how to do it otherwise. Can you somehow make it non-interactive in its properties?

if i used placeables as normal objects they would supposedly be non-clickable/interactable so that's no good if i understand that process correctly.

if i made it non-interactive in the properties i'm unsure if i could still use skills on the placeable.

Haven't looked into this placeable but one way to do this is to make another placeable instance using the same placeable and assigning the state controller to the Examine one (can't remember the name) so that it can only be examined. You would need to extend placeable_types as an m2da for this to work.
