Nuclear winter is unlikely, IMO. If anyone threatened to nuke, they'd get a nuke pointed at them. A stalemate.

Mutual nuclear detterence isn't fulproof. I won't go into this subject further, however. It's impossible to broach without getting into politics. So... a zombie apocalypse then. Joy. I need to get ahead of the curve and have my body upgraded with this technology. You know, like Albert Wesker did at some point between Resident Evil and Code Veronica.
I'm looking forward to my cool new reptilian eyes.
