Maxed Morrigan romance 100 (Love) and killed Flemeth, but she still refuses to teach me. Can anyone help?

Check your character level up screen.Even if she said "refuses" she may have already taught you the specialization.

Having same problem. I hear that others have learned it really early w/o doing much of anything. But she wouldn't teach me the skill at all.



When I talk to her I only have 2 option now, something along the line of "teach me shape shifter" and "talk personal"

No go on that. Only thing i have unlocked for mage is Arcane warrior.

is the shapeshifter tab grayed out or is it "locked" as in there's still a lock on the tab.

If it's only grayed out that means you already unlocked the specialization but haven't invested in it.
If it's there's a lock on it then it means it's still locked.

if you're still having problems,can you tell me what she said after you chose the "Can you teach people to become shapeshifter?" dialogue option

When I move my mouse over it, it says something like in red "this is not unlocked yet" sams as blood mage, and spirit healer

I think this is bug, she wouldn't teach it to you when your rating with her is too high. Since from reading other peoples in different topic, she will teach it to you when your rating with her is low (around 20).

Yea, i saw the book, but wanted to do the story way to unlock it first.

I had no trouble unlocking the Specialization from her,and her rating was pretty high at the time.
BUT even though I already "Unlocked" it the option to ask her about teaching shapeshifting is still there but with a different dialogue and she refuses
also it sounds like you haven't "Unlocked" it.

ps : in case I wasn't clear "Unlocking" and "Investing" is different.You invest by investing a specialization point to the specialization when you level up (level 7 or 14)

Oddly enough, I asked her after leaving Lothering this playthrough and she taught it immediately. Last playthrough, with 100 rating and a romance with her she still wouldn't teach it to me. Maybe you can't have a romance going with her.

Question, once you unlock Shapeshifter, can you learn to become a dragon or only Flemmeth is able to do that?

On my original character I could get shapeshifting from the first time I was in camp.



Recently, on my character that is romancing Morrigan, she was not teaching me at basically maximum romance level with Flemeth dead. So... apparently this is bugged or there is something I'm missing.



Said character was a dalish rogue and I had no other mages (I killed Wynne). It might be because there are no other mages but I doubt it's that simple. I mean, if that were the case, why would people care about it?

She stops teaching when she reaches a certain approval level (I don't remember which).

It's the one specialisation I have never bothered to unlock. I thought it was a bit odd she has always refused but it never really concerned me. After trying it out with Morrigan it seemed a bit lame anyway. I would rather just have more spells.
