Why are we forced to carry around our Heavy Wepon?  I mean I loved that ME2 did away with having all wepons on a character like in ME1.  However I still find it kinda frustrating to have my Adept running around with a giant granade launcher on his back.  There should be like an option to have Zaeed or Grunt carry it.  Or just leave it on the Normandy.

I would have supported an upgrade that boosted shields, health or doubled ammo capacity at the cost of carrying around a heavy weapon.

I also like the fact that classes now only carry the weapons they will actually use. I never really minded the heavy weapons though, even though I rarely use them on any class. Actually, I think carrying around the cain or the avalanche has nice cool factor.

I do understand what you mean though. I think an option to just leave it on the ship wouldn't bother me at all.

I've modded the heavy weapon out. I prefer to carry a max of three weapons. This allows you to move to your other two weapons with the scroll wheel (since no F1-F4 keys to switch) without having to pause the game.

Well, here I'm hoping the PC patch will include weapon hotkeys ...

Well I have it for Xbox so mods are not an option for me.

You can mod the xbox version, it just takes more effort.

I wouldn't go saying that aloud. I'm no expert but I know MS doesn't take kindly to modders/hackers on the xbox. Atleast, they sure didn't when it came to MW2.

There's a huge difference between glitching to get level 10 prestige and removing heavy weapons from a single player game like Mass Effect 2.

Just sayin'

Fair point but justice is blind I hear. If you get caught I doubt MS will give you a break because it's a single player game. If you use and like xbox live....word to the wise, not a smart idea.

Yeah... they are pretty strict about modding. Their primary concern is likely for multiplayer but I still wouldn't risk it. And I think it costs a lot of money to buy the equipment to mod xbox.

Maybe the PC patch is taking longer because of that?

The modding he is talking about is modding ME2, not the Xbox.
Anyway, with MS handing out the licence agreement AFTER the point of sale makes the agreement illegal under most western countries consumer protection laws.
The fact they also add a subclause about its ability to "change at any time without notice" again renders it null and void under most consumer protection laws.
It all comes down to how much your govt is willing to go to prosecute MS for its violations, and how far someone is willing to carry their complaint without yielding to "settlement".
