Before I take this game back to the store as an abysmal failure, I thought I'd post here for ideas.
I have a PS3 with the latest (3.30) upgrade. Installing Dragon Age Origins prompts me to download the installer (v1.02), then starts to copy the game data to the hard drive. At 22% complete, it just stops - completely freezes. (Actually, it gets to 22% with the copy of a large file, then copies another small file, then freezes completely - stuck at 0% for the file and 22% overall).
Rebooting is necessary to clear the problem.
Is this just a completely buggy game that it won't install, or is something else wrong?

Go into the game data utility and delete the dragon age files from there then try again.
If it still freezes then try getting the disc replaced. maybe it's faulty.
If a new disc does the same then there is a sort of scandisk utility built into the ps3 in a hidden menu. That should fix any corruption on your hard drive that may be causing the freezes.
If you want to use the scandisk thing then post back. I will find a link with instructions.
