Here's part of the conversation with her if your a female Warden:

And here's the part for the male Warden, her tones softer:

A lot of difference just in that part n my coersion's always maxed out by the time I get to this part.

Third edit: Actually, there is a persuade check there. But only males can pass it.

Exactly, it is a gender difference. I've always had max persuiassion, and most characters had high cunning as well. Still no persuiassion check for the girls, and Goldanna mocks the PC, depending on race, and Alistair will get upset and defend you, telling Goldanna not to talk to her that way, informing Goldanna that the female PC is a Warden too.
Thats what I always get. The last time I had finished the landsmeet and had max coersion and Cunning around 40. AListair was going to be king and I still got the convo I always get from her on my Cousland girl. (the insult and Al defending PC). My boy was a lot lower...will try it with higher cunning/coersion next time.
Anyone knwo what level you have to have cunning (I have coersion at about 3 usually except that last time when it was 4)
Either way she still sounds like a b*tch unless her line is softened some. I'm not throwing away my hard earned gold just to be insulted and shoved out the door anyway.

I always make sure I go on a VERY expensive shopping spree, plus a nice EXPENSIVE weekend of debauchery at the Pearl before me and Alistair go and visit her.
Whoops, 15 soverigns? Geee, I sure wish we could, but damnit, between Zevran's new Felon coat and that elf Transvestite at the Pearl, I'm afraid we have only 36 coppers to our name!
Shucks...

this had NOTHING to do with gender...but persuasion...fact.
but thanks for the wrong info!

The ridiculous part is the sheer self-destructiveness of Goldanna's behavior. She has Alistair practically begging her to be her meal-ticket and she throws him out.
Yes, it seems beyond stupid. The only thing that could make it plausible is if she's had a visit from Loghain's men, In which case, driving Alistair off could be interpreted as protecting herself and him. But Loghain doesn't know about Alistair (does he?). Anora does, but since she wasn't at Ostagar, she's unlikely to realize that he is the "other Grey Warden".

My information is correct. I go by the toolset, and it's VERY clear that only a male can pass the persuade check.
Edit: WHY only a male can pass it, I have no clue. But it's in the condition, and there's even a script note saying it's male only so it's not a coding error.

She's right, her female example is the succeeded persuasion check. Only males get the dialogue where she shows regret.

Ejoslin is exceptionally talented with the toolset, and I would stand by the above even if it were somehow wrong.
*grin* Thank you! I find bugs! I actually thought about changing this, but since there's a note saying it's male only, for some reason, I guess the writers wanted Goldanna to be more susceptible to a male warden's charms.
