Okay, so, after exhausting every other option, I turn to the Bioware forums for help.
I just bought DA:O, and so far it's been pretty awesome. Except for one thing; Alistair, whenever he is in my party, doesn't do anything. He won't attack unless I control him, and he won't move either. I've already checked if he's on "hold", and he definitely isn't. He won't do anything and I don't understand why.
Anyone have a remedy?
Alistair won't attack. HALP.

... aha. After two days of trying find a fix without posting on here, I find one not 15 minutes afterward. I accidentally disabled tactics.
