Flemeth? I don't know why but it seems there's more than meets the eye.. is she really evil? Or is Morrigan the real evil? Will it have an impact on the ending?? What am I going to do????
Anyway the battle with her took a whole lot of potions and fire resist salves though, wondering if it's worth it.
Are you even supposed to kill...

Morrigan will love you for it, and I think if you want her to teach you Shapeshifter you have to do this, I killed Flemeth so I can't speak objectively but obviously that's the concern.
My current theory is that Morrigan is the real Flemeth, towards the end of the game Morrigan offers you the chance to survive certain death by having Alistair sleep with her and give her a child, sounds suspiciously like what Flemeth does in terms of raising daughters then possessing them when her body gets too old, not to mention the child would be super powerful, pretty good candidate for possession!
I think you'd have to give Morrigan the child to find out the truth, if you deny her she just disappears and is spotted in distant lands or something obscure to that effect.
Maybe somebody who went the other way (by either refusing to kill Flemeth or giving Morrigan the child) can enlighten us both.

You have to be a mage to get her to teach shapshifter. Even after everything I did for her she still wouldn't teach my rogue. however right off the bat she taught my mage.

My Warrior Dwarf didnt have a problem making her teach me the Shapeshifter specialization, she only said to bring to her whoever is interested in learning it (which you don't literally have to do,since the specialization's already unlocked after that particular conversation)

This sounds incredibly interesting. I got the quest to go out and hunt for Flemeth, but what Discursion posted made it even more interesting! Must find out!
