Bought DA:O for my Mac from Gamersgate. I downloaded the Warden's Keep and other content, but when I go to Downloaded Content on the game's main menu, all the items say "Unauthorized." I logged in with the proper account, but I can't find a way to authorize any of the items. Can anyone help me?
Unable to authorize DLC content

Try:
- Making sure DAUpdater is running properly through Run.exe
- Deleting the profile.dap file and logging back in

Incidentally, there is a Mac forum for "tech", and there is a SITE forum for help with Site problems. The "authorization" foolishness is a figment of bad site design. Unlike the platform-specific Tech forums' almost total lack of any Bioware interaction, there actually is some occasional oversight from BW personnel on the Web Site Help Forum.

make sure you're logged in, enabling all content, then click redeem code. there you will enter the DLC cdkey given with your ultimate edition.

Wow, that really... did... nothing, like the last 3 hours I have been trying to find posts like these for help. This is way to boring to fix, I did buy the ultimate edition in hope for more enjoyable gameplay. Only ended up with what everyone had when it first came out. Why is this so hard? I have been trying all sorts of thing and there is nothing that works for me. Tomorrow I will never buy another BioWare game unless they are lucky enough to put some useful information out here at the forum, and I think steam should stay away from gaming in general.
I had my first nerdrage today with a game that is not even a MMO or a MP game. Thanks BioWare / Steam.
The sad thing is that when I try to follow the steps it always end up with trying to update the game in the redit folder. What it then tells me is that I need to use my redeem promo code which is allready been used. And when that doesn't work the cycle starts all over again. Cant find the updater in services.msc, and still my account are updated for the game but the game wont take it as it is. So here I am with one fot up in my ass while BioWare laughing with my money between their teeth. Got damnit! So tired of this that I dont know what I should do anymore. Hate to give up and now I think the game is broken for me because of my rage about this stupid problem.
I hope Blizzard start making game like these, atleast they know how to give people the updates they need without any bull**** around it.

Yep, tried all these steps and it STILL says "unauthorized". All DLC is showing as registered in my profile, used code key and every time I load the game all DLC shows unauthorized. I will NEVER buy another EA/Bioware piece of CRAP!!!!

Get on EA's nerves and bother customer support (chat) with it. That's THEIR job. They usually do have the means to fix it.
I actually found them quite helpful once you are moved to a "second-tier" staff member - which inevitably happens if you say you're a Mac user... :-P

evster15, it's a lot more complicated than that, as several threads in this forum have displayed. There is a large issue with redeemed codes NOT being acknowledged.

Has anyone been able to sort this problem out in an acceptable manner yet?
I find forum threads with solutions Only for PC users.

I the best way to deal with this is contact customer support.
Also keep in mind that problems like this may occur (they may have fixed this but I wonder if it could still be an issue for some versions that weren't updated) if someone buys the game online from a source using a server that isn't located within their country/geographic region.
Somehow that may mess with how approval codes are handled.
