My sword from the Darkspawn Chronicles no longer glows green and doesn't have the Poisoned quality. Help!! What is going on? Anyone else have this happened?

Same here. It seemed to disappear after I placed runes in it and fought with it for a while. Then I happened to glance at it and poof, the effect was gone.

Grandmaster runes will over ride the posion effect, as in it will no longer glow green, but the buff is still there when you attack.

I have a Rogue and Made the Mistake of using Venom on my weapons.

When the venom time ran down, the permanent Venom was gone. it never came back and I did not see the Green Damage points when I attacked enemies.

I think if you do anything to 'tweak' the Venom, you cancel the Venom that came on the blade. Which for me has made the Blade almost useless. Back to Duncan's Sword or Starfang.

ya know I think I'm gonna try that as I hate the poison effect on the blade

Yeah, I used some type of poison like magebane on the Blightblood also (didn't know before hand) and now the sword is complete utter garbage. This is horrible... I even tried to uninstall the DLC and install it again and for that saved game it does nothing. The only way to get it back is to play the game from a previous saved point meaning I lose about 15 hours worth of playing.

This was a major screw up on Bioware's part. I just lost my Blightblood's poison on the PC version because I didn't know about this bug.  I know they won't, but I wish they would fix this.  Probably is too late for a player to care and make a mod either.:(
