Excellent! Is this a mod coming out?
This is the type of work I would be happy to support.

Yes this was all done with the toolset. No it's not a mod, but a watchable series. We have 5 total episodes already produced, with 3 more a possibility if the show does well. So... tell all your friends to watch it if you want to see more.
Kristoff from Awakenings is indeed the main character. The series is about his past before Awakenings begins.

Out of curiosity, what music are you using? ( interested in the one for the trailer )

That was absolutely stunning! I hope Bioware endorse the series and have it on the Dragon Age homepage, it is certainly worthy of it.

This is professional quality! Wow. I love it when people in the industry love a certain game enough to lend their professional skills/talents to a mod or animated video.
Bioware should certainly endorse this. If Bioware can strike a deal with the author of Penny Arcade, they can do it with Machinima.
@ Suhnder: Perhaps too late to tell you this, since you said 5 epis are already made... the default female models in DAO are horrid. If you guys need appropriate female body meshes (if you haven't made your own), you can check out this mod and ask the mod's author: http://social.biowar...m/project/2660/

Really great work. Just 2 things I didn't like (really, minor):
1. When they leave the burning massacre, they all walk through a flame. It would look a lot better if they just passed by and not through. Somehow it doesn't makes sense that someone steps through hip-high flames.
2. I would avoid ground. What I mean is, that the texture of earth looks somehow poor and without details, so I would not show too much of it. Also the wood looked a little artificial as you are limited by the options that the toolset gives you. While the battle scene was great as the dialog by the fallen elf, those shots that showed a bigger part of the scenery suffered as you noticed that all trees looked identical.
I know that sounds as nitpicking, but when someone makes such a great product I think a little bit of well-meant criticism doesn't hurt

things like this make it seem as if the fans are more enthusiastic about the game than the devs. maybe they got burned out? has working at bioware become "another day, another dollar"...

should be titled "why you don't f** with the healer", .... dude boots his healer in the back in one scene and in the next the wounded gurgling dude has "already passed on'... right...

Retour en haut
