OP, you could have easily asked the Kaidan thread.

Two main reasons people like Kaidan:

1. He doesn't do a bunch of macho-dude posturing; he's confident in his abilities and doesn't have anything to prove

2. He offers his opinion when he's asked, unlike a lot of characters



Honestly OP, I find it insulting that you assume that a flock of Kaidan fans will come in and not attempt to engage in a mature dialogue about why we like Kaidan. I wouldn't blame folks if they came in and got pissed off though from the tone of your post and the tone of this thread.

I like Kaidan because he's level headed/wise and kind. I agree with his views regarding the Council/aliens and he seems like a dependable guy. I don't think he's boring.

No, it was a request for actual interaction.

The op is a steretypical, "No offense, but I'm going to say something offensive: I don't like Kaidan. I kill him every time. I don't like him and I don't know why people like him and he's boring." Honestly, Kaidan fans get sick of this kind of stuff and it's why a bunch of us stay in the Kaidan thread only.

You don't expect people to be pissed at that kind of post? It'd be like someone saying, "I let Jacob go in the vents because he volunteers. He's boring and stupid." (just an example)

Did i say i was demanding fans to say why they like him i just said basically don't bash me for not liking him which seems to the case now

I like Kaidan because, unlike Jacob and pretty much the rest of the ME2 squad, he isnt an expendable bore.



Jacobs "character driven" loyal mission was a trip to "the island of mech whacking" where we got to learn about his stupid father and his harem. Overall a weird and crap mission.



Other than that, his dialogue is boring. All in all, Kaidan just seems more interesting and involved in ME1s plot.

2. You think it is only the Kaidan who get pissed when someone bashes a charter they like and if you knew where going to get mad at the topic why did you come here in the first place?

I never assumed that the Kaidan fans are the only ones that get pissed when he gets bashed. Jacob and Kaidan are both the most bashed characters in the series.

I'm not mad at the topic either. Other folks are, whether they are hardcore Kaidan fans or not. Quite frankly, I see a thread just like this pop every few weeks or so and it has the same kinds of posts as all the other ones.
