I just thought that somebody who likes a character that few people like could understand why someone would like Kaidan. Everybody has different opinions

Yes but fighting fire with fire makes the original fire bigger no? maybe if some didnt just go like 'OMGZ he jsut ofended teh amazingness taht iz Kaiden'  and stated why his views offend, or what he is not aware that his views are inccorect, try explaing in a mature why, i find people listen better this way, well some anway.

The reason that  I like him is, because he not such a  stereotypical as a male in movies, and games. I also like him, because he has at least a better personalty than Jacob.

However I do like both guys, and they are decent characters I just think Kaidan has the better personalty . I also find it weird that people think Kaidan is boring, because I don't get that feeling from him.

Plus, I agree with Nozybidaj on this that this guy is a troll plain, and simple.. . If he doesn't want an answer other than what he thinks then he is a troll looking too get a rise out of people.

I believe this is where the thread officially derailed.  It was okay for the OP to say Kaidan has the personality of a wooden plank and should thus be set on fire ("He's a witch!"  Ahem, please excuse the Monty Python moment.) but not for someone else to say that Jacob is just as bland as Kaidan.  Suddenly, people find Jacob dull because they are racist.  That's just .

Personally, I enjoy talking to Kaidan in the game because he has had difficult experiences about which he'll talk without creating a pile and a half of drama with which you have to deal.  Everyone else in the game has deep personal issues that need your attention.  Kaidan went through some crap and he dealt with it.  Plus, he kicks but in combat but apparently the OP didn't want to hear about that.

But to brand someone as a "Kaidanite" as though it were some sort of mental defect simply because they pointed out the foolishness of expecting people not to get offended when you suggest that the character of which they are a fan should die in flames is silly.  To call them racist because they don't like the personality of a character who happens to be black is overreaction at best.
