When do you think Bioware or EA will put the DLC for mass effect 1, up for free?
I wouldn't pirate it but paying for it when it got mediocre reviews isn't really my plan either. Anyone know places where I can get a legitimate copy for free?

To be perfectly honest, you don't want it. I love pretty much all things Mass Effect, but Pinnacle Station is very, very bad, and it has zero effect in ME2, so it doesn't have even that. It's the only ME-related thing I regret buying.

yes free, if you bought it for ME1, give it to us in ME2 no charge

I kind a liked it. AFter finishing the game, you can't ever fight again or do anything. I found it a nice relaxing time to blast geth away.

Yep, thats about sums it up.
Its the only download I've made in the ME Universe that I've regretted.
It did get me some achievements though! lol

I got it hoping it would do something in ME2... was disapointed. Then again, I guess it means nobody is really compelled to buy it.

Was hoping that astroid base gets blown up in ME2, along with Vidinos and Ahern. Maybe ME3.

I didn't think PS was anything special but why do people hate it so much? I can understand indifference but not the anger it provokes lol.

I liked it too.
I think Bioware should give away Mass Effect 3 for free. And all the DLC.
And ponies.

I'm not sure I would go so far as to call it anger, but at least in my case, I was so disappointed in the content of PS that I couldn't help thinking what they might have done instead. It was the only DLC package besides Bring Down the Sky, and its quality was so poor that it was just cringeworthy. There is zero story, and the only thing that all the fighting really accomplishes is to showcase the poorest aspects of the fighting system in the game. In the end, it's just a grindfest with no real rewards, and it's the only part of the game that I only finished a few times even though I've played the full ME game at least twenty times, and yes, that includes every single side mission.Anwarddyn wrote...

PS seems to have been as if it were meant to be in ME2 considering all the combat that goes with it. They should have waited and it would have been more worthy

PS is a PoS, really. lol
They showcased ME's combat, which sucked compared to ME2's.
If Pinnacle Station were in ME2, people wouldn't complain. I know I wouldn't.
THEN it'd be worth it.
