I don't actullay like The Lady of the Forest much. Her mouth is really, offputting--those teeth! But playing her 'species' as a race? Huh, would be interesting...she reminds me of a gensai...

I was just going to suggest that. It does indeed give you a playable LOTF companion - with the talents of a mage. Tried it myself but it doesn't allow the carrying of weapons.

EDIT: You could also try http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=740 which has a recruitable LOTF as well as many other in-game characters.
