I am having a problem regarding getting the Reaper IFF. It is not showing on the galaxy map at all, even though i have all of my squad members, keeping me from continuing the Collector mission. I tried playing Samara's dossier quest several times, as that was the most recent quest i have done. Still nothing.
But i will also note that i had a problem with the date/ time setting on my Xbox 360 system, as it was set to November 2005 for some odd reason when i played though Samara's dossier the first time. Then i changed the date and time to the correct date, and tried playing the quest again to see if it helped, which to my extreme horror, it didn't. D:
Has anybody had this bug happen to them before?? Do i need to everything start all over again with the same shepard?
Reaper IFF not shown on my galaxy map! What now??

No help here unfortunately, apart from to say ignore the odd timestamp on the files. If you turn on your Xbox without being online and without having your clock set that's the time game files save as.

As far as I recall, it isn't tied to how many people you have, but how many total missions you have done. You could conceivably get the quest by doing just the Firewalker missions for example.

Presuming you've been roped into the Collector Ship mission?
That comes first. If you've not had that come up yet then go do some missions. Reaper IFF appears after that

That's the problem. I've done all the major missions beforehand. And there's no guarantee that the IFF will show up after i do a random mission... so, i already restarted everything with the same shepard anyway, so hopefully that will fix it.

it's not all 'major' missions you've done, it's missions (including major) that you've done. I got this problem as well and started to worry.
The only way you would definitely have a problem is if you've completely finished like 5 missions, essential 'dossier' missions or assignments and still haven't gotten the mission to get the IFF.

Haven't has the bug happen to me but while playing my on my first play through my date changed to the 22nd of November 2005. Didn't effect my game play though as i have completed ME2, twice. Was this the date that appeared on yours?

I think the date changes has todo with Xbox changing back to the default date. It happend to me a few times
