Bought, downloaded and installed and get the "unable to load module" error. After getting the error I messed with the Documents/bioware/DA folder, cut/pasted out the packages folder to see if it was due to any mods, same thing, took out all previous DLC's to see if anything interefered and still get the same error, cut everything out other then TDC DLC and still having the error... Any ideas? Saw a post about the module error for other issues saying to remove the module folder in my docs, doesnt do anything either...

I'm having the same issues. I have a STEAM version of the game, just bought Return to Ostagar. At first it would start loading. I restarted the game and now it's not listed on my DLC and it won't start loading at all. My Warden's Keep module says "unauthorized"... How can I fix this?

I have the Steam version too, never had any of the issues with it before. I bought Return to Ostagar too and all the other DLC's, I have those installed but under installed DLC's in game they say unauthorized as well but they do still work. akudjinn do you have any download links at http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php for Ostagar? If so you can manually install it with the updater, I really don't use the in games due to the unauthorized issues. For some reason there are no download links either listed in my bought DLC's, there's 12 total with only 3 that have download links which I just sent EA an email about which is strange since they are all registered.

No, I went to that link. The url's don't let me click on them and "Save As".. I am logged into my account. I got the Warden's Keep to verify, but my purchase of Return to Ostagar is totally missing.

I'm having the same problem as well. I bought the DLC, it froze at downloading, so i restarted it, then it says i haven't bought it at all. Then i downloaded from the link on this site and installed that, but now it says that it's "Unauthorised". Really confusing.

Same issue, wondering why I bought it when i've had so many previous issues.

Edit: Also can't get a CS rep or any kind of method to contact for help.

Bioware are on a roll, I don't want to jump on the hate band wagon since I absolutley love this game. But seriously, has this game had any release that wasn't ridden with bugs?

I'm happy that their supporting it with new content, but maybe it would be a good idea to squash some of the current bugs before the next set come to lay eggs in my PC.

EDIT: I haven't actually bought this DLC yet, nor return to ostagar. I'm just waiting for a patch before I get anything else.

This thread has been on for 3 days now. Is anyone going to reply or they're just ignoring us? Vincentdante, I agree with you, I don't want to hate or complain at Bioware, but this is not a small issue. We cannot use something we paid money for, and no one seems to be going to help us.

@ all... I've had it at first too...
go to http://social.biowar...58/index/189269,
Follow the 'Uninstall DLC' at first, then use the links there to MANUALLY install the DLC. Make VERY sure here you follow it right. Please report back here if something is still amiss. Hope this helps.
Also, ensure yourself of that it is registered among social.bioware.com/user_entitlements.php

Yep, that's what i did on my own, same stuff, deleted and manually installed, still same error message. But I will try again, following the instruction in that thread (even though it seems to be identical to what I did). Thanks

I've just bought and downloaded the Darkspawn Chronicles, and I'm getting the same error. I'm using the non steam version.

If I don't play a few weeks all my DLC's say they are unauthorized. I just use the daupdater and problem is solved. I have the downloadversion not the steam version. Daupdater is found where you installed the game in the bin_ship map.

Now it seems to be corrupting my game files. I try and play and it says that I need to have the Darkspawn Chronicles to load that save.

Can't find this daupdater thing or the "bin_ship map" thing. Is it named differently on Windows Vista?

You can try this:

Find My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings/AddIns.XML

Next open it with Notepad, and edit all RequiresAuthorization="1"

to

RequiresAuthorization="0"

Unable to load module. After 2 days of going on support for help i was either been handed over to lvl2, been told to do things that dont work or just getting dissconnected i was begining to think no one knew how to fix this problem. Then finally i had been past to lvl2 again and the guy had the answer. he asked me for my account name and the DLC key after a few mins wait he told me to start my game login and there it was everthing working :)
